  1. Thanks for the input BrynDETT, sorry for the slow reply I work away. So no negative affects as of yet that's interesting and a very decent power level. Do you mind sharing you combo?
  2. Thanks mate, I'm glad I decided to get some other opinions. Think it was more me just wanting to get on with it that was making me second guess if I could use it or not.
  3. Thanks for replying so quickly and sharing your knowledge. I had heard of the block issues between cylinder 3 and 4 splitting and the crack on the outside of the block from block twist after a healthy amount of power put through them but this is all new to me. When I spotted it I thought it might be a drama but was hoping it was more superficial so I could finish making the deck flat give it a hone and get down to ordering some parts, looks like I might have to start getting in touch with the seller to try get my cash back.
  4. Yeah GTSBoy thats on the exhaust side
  5. Hey Sau, Long time lurker. I just wanted some opinions from the experienced guys to see if this block is still useable or if it's a boat anchor and I should try get my money back? My concern is this crack between the water jackets to the head bolt thread between cylinder 3 and 4 see picture attached. Little back story about it, I bought it as the start of a small build to put into my daily. Was told was running fine no issues the previous owner had just pulled it down to go forged bottom end lost motivation and was now selling if off, after I started to clean it up I found the crack. The target I'm aiming for would be between 375 - 450kw so not the biggest power output but as it's going into my daily ( probably in the year 2050 at this rate) I'd like to give it a chance at surviving for as long as possible.
  6. Hi all so long story short, bought a nismo 320km white face cluster ages ago and finally got some free time to put it in only to find that I didn't do my research and ended up with an early model and of course i have a late model, I've since gone and searched the forum and found the speedo sensor convertion - http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/152998-r32-speedo-steering-sensor-conversion/, but was also wondering if there was also a pin change in the plugs? because when i installed it the battery light, hicas and the lock light came on and stayed on, put the old dash in and bam no problems. thanks
  7. Thanks for the advise I have checked the piping but might have missed something so I'll give it another going over tomorrow and as far as taking it back to the tuner I'm in Mt Isa so no tuners (that I trust anyway)
  8. Hi people As the title says I've got a problem with lack of power with my 93 gtr, I've done some searching on this forum and found a few things which I have already done, The problem started with fuel consumption and then lack of power and not reving over 2500rpm. The things I've done to try fix the problem so far have been new o2 sensors, and just put in new nismo afm which haven't seemed to work, apart from that the car has cat back exhaust, hks panel filter and ebc set to 14. Any help with this problem would be great. thanks chris
  9. hi guys sorry to drag up an old thread just wanted to know is there another way apart from taping the fuel pressure reg? and where is the best and easyest way to get the lines into the cab?
