  18. Basically my power steering pump started to make some noises and was leaking. replaced the pump and lines while i was there with a second hand pump which was worse than my original, now on my 3rd pump the pump makes no noises which is nice, but the steering is completely different. Steering is really heavy and at higher speeds very sketchy and unpredictable. what is the likely hood that this is a pump related issue, or more likely that i may have run the steering rack to zero fluid and borked the rack? There's no more bubbles coming out the PS reservoir and no signs from the pump that its not working properly. the only thing that's in the back of my mind is the first 2 pumps had Kataba 70908 (iirc) on the back. IN saying that the 3rd one bolted up all sweet. just no part number Both pump swaps were done on the same day for reference. any ideas, buy another pump or buy a rack?? both about the same price, lol thanks
