  1. Would like to buy the turbo if still for sale. PM sent.
  2. Black C34 in Help Street Chatswood around 5:20pm yesterday.
  3. Hey Cam, Kit turned up today around lunch time just after you sent through the correct tracking number. Dunno if I'm gunna have the same luck as Dale did in getting it installed. Got the weekend to do it, but rain is forecast. I don't have a garage Once again, great work in getting this together. As Molly says, do ya selves a favour and buy it!!! You'll really appreciate the extra space when working on your car.
  4. The stagea also appears at around 3:20 How ironic for a Swedish band to have a Stagea instead of a Volvo in their clip Awesome song though!!! In the same vein as Rammstein!!! A German band of the "Neue Deutsche Härte" genre.
  5. Spotted white C34 (plates DA XXXX) on Queens Rd Five Dock near the leisure centre around 5:30pm last evening. Big tail pipe in which you can put yr hand up to service the motor Tooted as I went past at the traffic lights when I turned left into Harris Rd.
  6. New front upper control arms with nolathane rubbers (or SuperPro????) for my NM35 today at Wholesale Suspension, Penrith, NSW. This was on top of replacing the lower ones abt 6 weeks ago (by Jetwreck). The knock in the suspension had gone away but came back again after a while, particularly when under heavy braking.
  7. Great work getting this GB together. I've just transferred the money. Cheers, Russel (Rosella)
  8. Count me in too!! Will transfer the money tomorrow (20th).
  9. Spotted a black NM35 (neither Jetwreck nor Daleo) on Queens Rd near the Five Dock recreating centre around 5:20pm yesterday. Waved but the male driver didn't see me as the sun was in his eyes as he was going west.
  10. >> I am looking at either a Touareg V8 or maybe a Murano. I found this online which would have been cool Murano GT-C I was at Wholesale Suspension in Penrith last week and there was a Murano parked out front. It's lowered to the hilt on big 22" wheels. Apparently the owner works there and is about to put in a twin turbo kit according to the bloke at the counter. Didn't get a chance to talk to the owner though Might be worth having a chat with them???
  11. Hoping to make it but I've got a cricket reunion on that weekend in Wollongong. Have to see if I can get away early Sunday morning otherwise I could meet you all at WF? what time are you finishing?
  12. Saw Daleo this morning around 8:50am in Blaxland, NSW going home from work I presume??. I was stopped in the traffic going east at the lights near Seven-11/Maccas on the GWH. I waved but not sure he saw me.
  13. Spotted a blue NM35 series 1 around 5:30pm between Medlow Bath and Blackheath going east on the GWH. I thought I was looking in the mirror...same as mine. Didn't have my glasses on so only saw it as it was going past. Sorta waved but the 'A' pillar was in the way for the other party to see. So now I'm waving
  14. More work done by Craig this arvo. The lower front control arms (or are they ball joints???) were replaced due some very worn rubber. Endless clunking on every road, probably would on glass if I could try some. Exchanged them for some new ones with purple natholane or urethane rubber. Can't remember the name of the product. The car has been transformed yet again. Just like a new one, even better. Craig has a great setup with the workshop, so as Molly Meldrum used to say.... "Do ya selves a favour and check it out!!!" Needless to say, this is a very good replacement and the workshop setup is excellent. I might just get him to do all the work on my car
  15. It's been 4 days now since Craig (Jetwreck) did the work on putting the Transgo components in the VB part of the gearbox. What a difference it makes!!!! Though, it the kit isn't much to look at for your money, it's worth every cent. As Daleo said in his posting, the transformation is stunning. No more backing off when gear changes occurring, ie; the standard box just eases up on the throttle when it changes gear. This was disconcerting when you are hammering it. This behaviour is a thing of the past now. During normal driving, the changes are not noticeable but when you accelerate and particularly between 3000-4000 rpm, the changes seem almost silky smooth. Thanks again to Craig for the work. I'd recommend this to anyone with a NM35/PM35.
  16. Silver C34 turning right into Monash Rd off Victoria Road at Gladesville around 5:30pm today. I was turning right into Victoria. You acknowledged with a nod when I waved.
  17. White M35 with the aero kit in Glenbrook at 9:50am yesterday turning right into Hare St from the GWH. I was traveling east on GWH coming towards to the lights. I wasn't close enough to wave or flash the lights. Is this the one Daleo saw in Penriff???
  18. Best to keep to the same overall height so as not to put your speedo out any further unless you don't care about that Try this tyre calculator: http://www.kouki.co....size-calculator BTW, I'm running Mastercraft Touring LSR 245/45R18 96V. They have treadwear rating of 520. I ran them on my Magna and got 70,000km out of a set of four with constant rotation at 5000km. They have a symmetrical pattern so can be rotated in the traditonal pattern rather the asymmetrical method of front/rear on the same side. I paid $265 per tyre. I'm impressed with them but have only done 1000km so far. Quite a difference in car weight between the magna at 1300kg and the stagea at 1720kg though!!!!
  19. I'll do some this weekend. BTW, Japlink do exhausts so I'll look at getting the dump pipe to them soon. Adam said they'll do anything I want
  20. Mine was the blue one...having brembos fitted.
  21. Congrats on the car. Very nice!! Agree cars, especially Stageas, look better lowered. My missus loves mine as the seats are more comfortable than my old TJ Magna and she doesn't get car sick. I calling into Japlink, where I bought mine, on Tuesday so will have a yarn to them about the cover mat. I think they have one laying around.
  22. I'm keen on one when I return from OS in middle of July.
  23. Thanks Dale for a loan of the exhaust for the time being. I got it installed this arvo. All bolts and stud were so rusted that they snapped when the exhaust place tried removing them. The flex joint onto the dump pipe needed an oxy to heat them in order to get them off. After a good sleep I realised I forgot about the standard wheels I have stashed in the shed. They'll do until I return from OS. Thanks to Bronx for the suggestion and to Dale for the loan of the wheel nuts. Also got hold of a rack piece and will have it fitted next Tuesday. So all is well with the world. I think I over-reacted big time. So on returning will look out for BigKev's exhaust group buy. It looks a treat.
  24. Thanks Andy. I'll keep that in mind. I don't like the sound of reduced ground clearance. The car is low enough as it is and the middle muffler scrapes on things. That's why is has holes in it. My rear muffler/tip has been replaced with an after market one and it seems in good order. It could be used again I hope.
  25. Thanks fellas. Re-checked the failed report and it's been uploaded to the RTA. Bummer Thanks Commsman for the exhaust offer. I bought one of Scotty's dump pipes two weeks ago as I was planning to replace the exhaust after returning from OS. I just didn't think it was as bad and thought it would get through the check. The worst is the inner rack end being worn. I'm not even sure what is worn. Have to get under the car and take a look, then I'll know what I'm looking for. I'll have to find another one either through Nissan or second hand. The bloke doing the inspection knew about the car and thought it would be off the road for a few days or maybe a week whilst my piece is reconditioned. But who knows about the car to be able to do that sort of work??? I've checked Import Monster online but nothing so maybe I'll email them or phone them to see what they can get from Japan or may be approach JapLink, where I purchased the car, to see what they could get otherwise I could be off the road for a bit. The rego is due 18th June and I leave to go OS on the 23rd. I don't use the car that often but do need to go to Sydney once a week to check in with the clients. May have to curtail until I get it sorted. I hate to let it sit until I return. Getting a blue slip is tedious but fraught with possibilities of not passing. It happened to my old TE Cortina as they went over it with a fine tooth comb and picked out every conceivable thing that didn't look legal. Fingers crossed as I work out what to do tomorrow after a good sleep tonight.
