  1. Spotted a silver Axis on GWH at Blaxland last night around 6.25pm going east under the pedestrian bridge to the railway. I was crossing the road back to my car. It stopped at the lights but I couldn't get in my car quick enough to catch up. Female driver. I first didn't think it was a Stagea coming along the road. I was standing on the median strip but as it got closer realised it was a newer than mine.
  2. Did you look next door at Japlink? I was there at around 11:30 talking with Adam, the bloke who sold my car. They have 2 on the lot and another just sold. Look nice. They have sold one that is still in Japan to be shipped soon. AllImports had only 1 I could see, an ARX I think, a little like AndyB's on here. Definitely don't try that place with an E in the name. I looked at a Legnum 2 years ago. They flogged the guts out of it from a cold start.
  3. Yeh, I've done the same thing where the M7 merges with the M4 going west at the Lighthorse Interchange. Always seem to met someone coming from the northern end driving under 80km/hr, then Even though there is a small distance to the 110Km/hr sign they just want to drive at 80 or under until they reach the sign but don't seem to want to speed up to reach freeway speeds before merging.Just got to watch out for the semis coming from the southern turnoff as they accelerate around the big left hander. Very frustrating if you can't get 'round before getting on the M4.
  4. Count me on the action
  5. Saw a silver C34 at Wentworth Falls traffic lights this morning around 8:50am. Gave a wave but not sure whether you saw me. Also saw a silver M35 on Boundary St Chatswood today around 10:15am. Older bloke driving - had wooden steering wheel plus the front bar similar to bbenny's with the fog lights. Factory 17's on it.
  6. Sure did. 'Cause I can't hear it kick in, not like the factory one. I was lucky to see it just stop spinning yesterday morning before going to work. I just need to organise that waterproof connection you showed me.
  7. Installed the HDi intercooler purchased through the group buy on Sunday. I must say an impressive and professional job in construction. I'll take some photos showing it shining through the grill. Next is the sway bars then brakes.
  8. Intercooler kit installed courtesy of Dale on Sunday. I've noticed a subtle difference and the fan does not seem as noisy at the original. I'll be keeping an eye in it in the coming weeks. Each time I returned to the car today I couldn't help but notice the shiny metal through the lower grill.
  9. Thanks to the assistance of Dale I have a great addition to my car. Now pity my car's not red then it would go even faster. Now can't wait for the sway bars.
  10. Hey Jetwreck, #1 - That was me...I remember it was Just above Hazelbrook near the 40km sign.I saw you but didn't have time to flash so I waved back. Thought it was Daleo LOL. Oh well, at least it was a member of the forum BTW, also had a white skyline wave at me as I passed him on the Bells Line just before Mt Tomah. I had the missus with me and we were doing a round trip to Penrith and back via the Bells Line to give the car a bit of a run. It's been sitting at home in the rain for the last few weeks.
  11. Intercooler kit arrived just a while ago. Haven't opened it yet. Now only need to find time to install
  12. Perhaps the hat was a giveaway. LOL
  13. I've just ordered mine last night. Should be here early next week.
  14. Thanks to Cameron for the part numbers and Dale's contact at Penrith Nissan, I've ordered the rear wiper arm. Total $90. Should be here in time for Xmas.
  15. Thanks Dale. Will try there first.
  16. Thanks fellas. I'll hop in to Nissan when I'm close to one soon. Cheers, Russel
  17. Hi, Anyone know where to buy the small detachable arm on the rear screen? Mine's gone walkabout....:-( I last saw it when I cleaned the windows at the servo on Friday night and only noticed it missing yesterday in the pouring rain as I lefft home on the way to work. It may have been stolen at the cinema in Katoomba as we were there on Sat arvo or it fell off. Cheers, Russel
  18. Great work Dale!!!!
  19. On my way to work this morning. But yeh, needs a decent wash since I had some weekends recently on a muddy property near Mudgee - maybe Friday .... I'll give you a ring and maybe catch up on my home from work. The new tyres fill the guards now so it looks a bit lower.
  20. I just replaced tyres on my M35. It came with 225/45/18 and the web specs state 225/55/17. I've used an online calculator and I went for 245/45/18 and they fit nicely under the guards too. Pictures will follow shortly when it stops raining. BTW, the speedo accuracy improved from being 7.01% too fast to 2.6%. This was based on the daily drive of 228km.
  21. 2003 Mitsubishi Magna Sports TJ Series 2 5 speed manual sedan Asking $5600 negotiable dual fuel - done in June 2006 and had about 90,000km. Still running perfectly. It's an Impco vapour injection system. Average consumption between 10.5 - 11.5l/100km. Unleaded can vary between 8.5 - 9.5l/100km. Approx 245800km - 90% highway. I regularly commuted from upper blue mountains to Macquarie Park twice/thrice a week. 10 months rego - 16th July 2011. Tyres with about 80% tread - they've been on the car since 2009. So have done about 20,000kms approx. I usually get 70,000 plus out of a set with regular rotation. Fully serviced with log books. Towbar Tinted windows I'm the second owner, purchased Nov 2004 with just over 28000km. The first owner was Red Spot Car Hire. They thought it was a good idea to rent manual cars but it failed so the sales manager was using it. Genuine reason for selling as I purchased a 2001 NM35 Stagea in March. Only got around to advertising it in August on carsales dot com au. Contact Russel either mobile 0425 231 966 or email: russel underscore hope at fastmail dot fm
  22. I saw a gold M35 ARX in Hazelbrook last night around 745 driven by a blonde female going west on the GWH.
  23. Can attest to your changes. I used to run 90/130w H4 globes in my MKII Cortina with relays on low beam and high beam. I replaced the Lucas sealed beam 50/60w units with Hella H4. There was the occasional burn mark on the plastic backing but nothing too bad. Off course there was much more room for cooling compared to the Stagea. :-) I'll get around to doing the Stagea shortly. Was thinking about after market fog lights in the lower grill since the factory ones in the headlight are not great either. Any one done added without changing there front bumper?
  24. Saw a blue M35 with G***** gold on black plates in Help St Chatswood yesterday around 13:15. It had twin sunroofs and gold coloured brake calipers. I had just left #12 Help St and was talking on the phone so couldn't stop to chat. There was a woman in the passenger seat but no driver. They turned around about 5 minutes later and were seen going towards Anderson St. By chance are they a member?
  25. I noticed on google maps the distance is 114km down but 115 up and whereis is 115.7 down and 117.1 up. Maybe need a GPS to work out an accurate reading. Where did you buy your tyres, BTW? I've got Pirelli Nero Zeros or is it Zero Neros. They came on the car with the rims (Advan T7s). I'm located in Blackheath and work in Nth Ryde near Macquarie Uni. I come down the mountain on Mondays and Wednesdays only. Maybe we should catch up at some point?
