  1. Please tell me somebody has an ECU pinout and wire colour diagram for the V35 coupe? I have spent a fruitless afternoon crouched beside the car trying to sort out the wiring in order to do some data logging with an Innovate LM-2 via analog inputs, so i can incorporate my Phormula KS3 knock sensor in the logs along with the wideband O2. However all i have is the infinity and 350Z pinouts an suffice to say they don not match up, none of the pinouts are what the infinity diagram says, even using the right pins with the corresponding colours, they are not what they are supposed to be, and the rest either are non existent pins (no connection) or even trying the correct wire colour on the wrong pins still do not correlate, (not that i really expected it) The only other option i have is to go through every pin and log the voltage/resistance and hope i can find the relevant wires, but its not the way i want to go in case i cock up and fry the ECU, besides my knees and back are killing me
  2. I was interested in anyone who has tried an emenage or any piggyback on an N/A engine, to see if there was a way to fool the std ECU into controlling closed loop, the only way i can think of is the way i did it with my Supra, by using an Innovate wideband set up and feed the std ECU with a slightly modified lambda signal. As for the AFM scaling issue and closed loop, as said a lager intake tube may help, but i would have thought that the EMU pressure sensor would be taking care of any + pressure fuelling as the maps can be scaled by that, there is or used to be an add on for the EMU,to take care of closed loop, i think its called the Fmanage, but i have yet to here of anyone using one? and in any case i heard that Greddy/Trust are in receivership?
  3. Just been going through the old posts and came across this one, interested in whether Kam-80 got emanage ultimate to work well? i would have thought that it would struggle as the factory programed closed loop goes to pretty high RPM load before switching to open loop maps, so I've been told?
  4. I an mainly trying to find if the sub frame (part that holds the motors etc) has a flat top that the seat bolts to, without having to dismantle mine, if it has then its no problem for me to fabricate adaptor mounts for a new seat, as if i do need to remove the lot then i will still have to fabricate higher mounts as the sport seats would sit too low, so its will require some work in any case. As for getting the existing seats rebuilt, here in the UK it would cost considerably more to do that, if i was going that route i could probably get a replacement leather interior for the same price.
  5. What I'm after is info on whether you can use the existing subframe with the electronic adjustable bit with an aftermarket sport seat, and preferably some how to's and pics etc
  6. Are they fitted to the original sub frame? or did you remove it all first?
  7. Has anyone fitted aftermarket sport seats to their 350GT? i have the velour sets and i am getting sick of being shocked every time i get out of the car, so i am thinking of fitting something else. Just wondering if anyone has done this and if its possible to keep the electric options, had a look at the manual and it looks to me like the seat cushion part is on top of the motor/rail part so i was hoping i could fit to this and retain the full electric adjustment?
  8. Can you enlighten me please? I presume this something that you need to add? but surly there is a wire that can be simply cut or grounded? which is a signal preventing using the VTR input on the move?
  9. Hope somebody can help, don't have enough posts yet to PM Chris, so hopefully i can find a solution here. I have added a rear view camera, and TV tuner via the JDM TV tuner spare input, as outlined on here by Frank350GT, and everything works fine when stopped, so i went looking for the speed input wire for the nav control unit, i found the correct plug and the right pin no, but the wire colour was wrong, manual said B/W but the wire was i think purple and red?? Anyway i sniped it, i also looked for some king of parking brake signal wire to the nav control unit, but i couldn't find anything?? I have tried gently pulling on the parking brake while moving but it still cuts off the screen, i presume due to it thinking there is an error, so it would do no good to just ground the signal wire. So how do i find the correct wires to snip/ground so i can operate the camera all the time. Any help appreciated.
  10. Well i have successfully connected a reveresing camera and a digital TV tuner that also plays MP3, i am going to cut the speed wire behind the DVDrom/sat nav drive, but i believe that you also need to cut the handbrake signal as well? can anyone tell me which wire thy are just to double check? i cannot find a hand/parking brake in the circuit diagram?
  11. Thanks for the PM, can't reply as i don't have the post count yet, i see you mention Japanese to English satnav conversions in your sig, can yon you give me some info please? Oh! i am actually in the UK.
  12. Hi, thanks for the info, appreciate it, is removing the DVD rom unit the best/easiest way of accessing the wiring to cut A further question, can i power the camera by splicing into one of the + power wires to the TV unit? as it would make it an easy fit, or is there a better option?
  13. Hi, first post for me, i have just bought a Skyline 350GT, and somebody on the UK Skyline 350GT forum gave me a link to this thread. I would really like to get a rear view camera setup ASAP, as trying to park is kind of difficult with the limited views on this car. So i have got a suitable plug for my TV unit, and the wiring/plugs, just need a camera, so the first question is, do i get a PAL or NTSC, i am guessing NTSC but would like to be sure? Also my screen will not show the TV if the car is in motion, so i have seen that somebody mentioned that the hand brake and the speed feedback needs to be cut, i am presuming this is to the TV unit itself? Thanks for any help.
