  1. Okay, rear one is working again after opening and closing a few times (pressing and holding button until it completes its function) Tried to apply the same "fix" to the front but no bueno
  2. Hey all, couldn't find any info on this issue... Unfortunately my rear sunroof has stopped auto closing/opening when tapping the button. The front one hasn't since I bought the car, no big deal but today the rear one stopped working and I have to press and hold the button to complete either the tilt or slide function. I used to be able to just tap it once and it'd tilt, tap it again and it'd slide open but now I have to press and hold. Is there a sensor that's gone bad or is there a way to recalibrate? TIA
  3. Doing wheel bearings and lower ball joints today. Have uppers as well but they don't appear to be serviceable. Is that correct? Ordered through Febest and PN matches the model.
  4. Shouldn't be too hard or too expensive to source Part number is H0800-AQ000
  5. Not much really. Mainly streaming music. Quite often it'll be on the Monstercat radio stream via Twitch or stuff from my YouTube subscriptions which are automatically downloaded using youtube-dl. It also has RetroPie installed with a heap of ROMs and an 8BitDo SNES Bluetooth controller. 4G is just for convenience.
  6. Finally got around to installing my 4G wireless router. Bought this for ease of use with the Raspberry Pi rather than hot-spotting off my phone each time. It's mounted in the passenger-side cubby and power tapped off the stock Japanese tuner. It automatically turns off with accessories. The car switch for the Raspberry Pi has stopped working though... Contacted the vendor but might have to buy another one. Also setup the OB Link. Works perfectly. Does everything I want except trans temp.
  7. Your water pump is inboard and driven off the timing chain. Usually last quite a while. I'd avoid switching to electric thermo's. Clutch is more reliable.
  8. It'll likely be the bracket itself. Not expensive. Part number should be 21046-4P100. $80USD from PartSouq (highly recommended, quick shipping from Dubai). If it is the coupler, that's not too bad from PartSouq. ~$50 in shipping to Australia. NZ shouldn't be much different.
  9. Eh, ended up ordering the OB Link Type 001.
  10. Also found this, does live monitoring for up to 4 parameters SPTools SP61155
  11. Hey all, I'm in the market for a basic monitoring tool and wondering if the original OB-Link is still a viable option. I'm mainly worried about any incompatibility with the newer Android releases. The app was last updated in 2015 and, from what I can see, only needs v2.1. No info or reviews on newer versions. I've got a spare Xperia Z5 running v8 and was going to use it for Waze anyway rather than having another device like the GReddy Informeter Touch. I could go the ELM327 and Hobdrive or Torque route but can get the OB-Link for a good price so would prefer to go with that.
  12. Haha, whoops...
  13. Nice work with the airbox. Would you mind sharing the STL? Or, can I buy one off you? My 3D printer is still waiting to be assembled haha.
  14. Appears to be AC compressor. Had tested that but only after it'd been running for a while so was already making the noise. Have been driving around without AC and haven't heard it since. Apologies, I thought this issue may have been more common.
  15. Of course, just like using WebMD to diagnose a lump (it's never Lupus).
  16. Hey all, my M35 is coming up to 150 thousand and was worried my turbo was about to die but this noise has been occurring on and off for a while. It seems to be more evident during warmer weather or when the car has been in heavy traffic for a bit. Occurs during acceleration but more obvious at lower speeds. Happens when revving in neutral too so doesn't appear to be driveline (unless it's gearbox). Sound is a deep grinding and comes from the front passenger side but I'm sure if it was turbo, it would've died by now. I haven't had a chance to pull ancillary belts off yet but also worried about keeping it cool when it gets to temp. I was thinking it may be the fan pulley bracket or water pump? I have the stickers for the 100,000km service so imagine water pump was part of that service?
  17. Looks like someone had the joy of swapping out the turbo!
  18. I've got MCA coilovers in mine and they go nice and low in the rear. Josh did a true coilover setup rather than separate strut and spring setup from stock.
  19. Unlucky. I've had a good run with retrofit HID and factory bi-xenon in various vehicles but I've always made sure they're not pointing up too high. My Stagea is set a few notches down from the top to avoid unwanted attention. I'm running 6000K D2R's from eBay and they light up the road fine. As mentioned, they are illegal since they don't meet ADR's.
  20. Installed a new head-unit with a rear aux since I was sick of the Raspberry Pi plugging into the front on the old one. Also found that you can install RetroPie on OSMC so gave it a go! Great for dealing with Brisbane traffic :P
  21. Silicone goodness checking-in!
  22. A lot of stuff from 350Z, V35 and G35 will fit. If you're looking for new genuine, check-out partsouq. Just pop in your VIN and it'll list each section from the workshop manual and include part numbers. Either Google or eBay the part numbers or just order from partsouq. Took 4 days to get a new brush kit for my starter motor from them and was only $100 shipped.
