  1. so its not worth it are it has no effect on my setup? now if i get different coils ( okada coils) would i need to mess with it then? just wondering?
  2. i have for some time been looking at the Dwell ign VS rpms in the PFC for my rb25 motor but i don't know if i should are is it necessary for my motor with mods to mess with it. the mods are t76 turbo, all bolts on, 1000cc injectors, 2 fuel pumps running e85. so i know that timing will need to be up a lil more just from using e85 but don't know much about it. if anyone is an experience tuner with this please shine some light on it for me.
  3. thanks man ive been looking to find info on this, would you also use the twin power aswell are these can power more than that??
  4. i have stock coils and have no problem at with them, BUT there is gonna come a time here pretty soon that i know they my come bad, just there old and really been used ALOT. so my question is has anyone used the OKADA PLASMA???? i see there very expensive and i hear that jap people use them and high HP cars. info on my car is right now its an rb25 with a t88 turbo dual fuel pump intake 1000cc injectors running e85 with power fc. is pushing 580whp. im actually replacing the motor now due to a bad ring, than im going to be building an rb30 later after this so i would need a better setup for later down the road. so anyone can shine on this if you know anything bout these coils.
  5. the motor is stock but its a Frankenstein. i have r33 turbo head with a r34 n/a block currently with rb26dett cams. but those are gonna come out. i have turbonectic t76 turbo with rb26 manifold a/c running e85 with dual pumps an 1000 cc's all put in an s14 shell.
  6. so basically i should put my old cams back in and get a rb25 cam upgrade..
  7. i have a friend that has a set of stock rb26 lifters i may use those cuz i think the rb26 cams are a good cheap upgrade so i want to try it out but i want to do it right.
  8. yea it is. so if i get 5he lifters then i would be ok??
  9. would that also be a reason for my car not having the much vacuum???
  10. So would they mess up anything are would it make the car not run right???
  11. i have a pair of rb26 cams in my car with cam gears. the concern that i have is that my car has hardly no vacuum on the boost gauge which i guess has another problem with startingt the car aswell. is it safe to say i would are should do solid lifters???
  12. ok how do i know if the map sensors need rescaling???
  13. yes when i try to fire it i need to put the pedal like half way down then it will fire right up. now if it makes any different i am using e85 aswell with the GTR cams.
  14. oooh ok. now i am using this ecu on a rb25 motor not rb26, dont know if that makes a big difference, oh and also has anyone experience using gtr cams in a rb25??? the problem im having is it will not crank over that easy, i have to use the gas pedal to get it to crank
  15. hey, just would like to know if your fuel lines are bigger than stock? but the fuel mods you have seems to bump ur fuel pressure up. do you have a FPR? if not get one and turn it down a bit.
  16. thanks got it. are you using 2 map sensors??? is it needed????
  17. email sent
  18. oooh so what would be the solution for that? is the map sensor calibration off?
  19. i am using GM 3bar sensors
  20. is there anyone who knows about PFC really good??? is there anyone that has a map settings saved that i can look at to compare????
  21. ok so heres the problem. i have used the diagram off rx7.com to calibrate my map sensor. i got a value of 43000 for scale and 2000 for offset. now i got to enter these numbers in and the scale number changes to 9830. almost any high number in xx,xxxx range will give me that same number. so my question is, is that number converted? is it a true value? is there another conversion i have to do with the rb26 on than other???
  22. does anyone know the settings for the gm 3bar map sensors??
  23. ok by taking ms out it almost starts but its not enough to take crank it
  24. hello im in the states side and no one over here really doesnt do much hybrid stuff with skylines. so i need help with getting the cranking inj right. im also thinking that part all most of the problem may have something to do with the map sensors may not be scale/offset right. i have two gm 3bar sensors for the map and im using the apexi 2.5 map sensor for the boost controller. i will send my map if anyone is interested in this. i am using e85 with 850 ijectors on this setup. but i am changing the turbo fuel setup on the car. thanks in advanced jerry
