Parts where purchased from Paul Diemar or Red R Racing and the setup was discussed with him and in his words was the best/toughest setup for a RB25 It consists of: CP Forged Pistons 20thou oversized (86.5mm) with gudgeon pins and brand new rings - Note pistons are used but almost new removed from motor due to engine failure of some sort, Had them checked out thouroughly from a reputable engine builders he said they were mint and almost new condition. RB26dett rods machined to suit rb25det, these have been known to take well into 700whp and Paul said that he favoured these rods over forged rods. Fitted with ARP 2000 Rod bolts I am only looking to recover my losses to fund new project. $1400 ono - will post anywhere at buyers cost. PLEASE DONT HESITATE TO MAKE ME AN OFFER. when you remove motor/box. id suggest highly in seperating motor from box. take them out seperate as the box is f**kIN heavy!! if you need a hand let me know.

I like where this is going, I have done a 25/30 awd into a stagea using a pro engines plate.. wasnt a fan, also had a 35r, 6boost and turbosmart 50mm gate, also not a fan. Id suggest souring turbo/gate yourself. as turbo actually came from another supplier.. As for manifold, sure 6boost is good but googe extreme turbo manifolds. also in nsw his manifolds are second to none.

lol fuel economy is pretty bad cos im on stock ecu and injectors whilst on run in. Haltech e11v2 going in with 550's soon . should see 400rwhp on 10-12psi. I dont think my tank is that big.

how big is it? mine its full at 40-45 litres.. which is between 45-60$ and i get anywere from 250-350km to a tank.

my 10k hid kit is worse than the parkers in my old ladys toyota soarer. they arent sealed right and i just dont want them. i want non projectors which i will pull apart and put the projector clear glass lenses on and paint them black...

yesh the 040 is brand new. in box. But is this my issues, yes it is problem solving but has anyone had this problem so im not chasing my tail.

so i have a ser 2 rb25det cefiro, kkr480, greddy plenum stock injectors and ecu (have 550's and haltech waiting) Never missed a beat, i built this car. Car was purchased as rolling shell with 'big fuel pump' unsighted so i have no idea what it is. drive for 2 hours today. go to shops, wait 1 hour, drive car get 200m sounds like its running on 5 cylinders. pull over 4 hours later in the rain ive checked spark, fuel, compression. plugs, blow by, crankcase pressure, afm..... no idea then came good but still sometimes missfiring bad. drive 1 hour back home get 2 streets away and car just starts to die in the ass. BUT in recent when under load this loud whistling straining noise has been coming from the fuel pump.... can this pump be dieing? cos the missfire was intermitten, sometimes dropping a cyl and then running fine, try and bring it under load (boost) it would just cough and splutter. Bearing in mind this car has sat and im about to change the 'unkown big pump' to a brand new bosch 040 ive had sitting here and replace the new fuel filter i put in when i put the motor in.. Is this my issue? or are my splitfires f**ked? any ideas?
