Yeah there was a series 3, i don't know how it was categorized but from what i can tell it was only 06 models, and there are 3 people in australia who can compliance them, 1 in Qld, 1 in Perth and now 1 in Melbourne. How long of a aux cable did you use Luke? and was it just a 1 piece male to male cable or did you use an extension?

Ehh i just ended up getting 1 from Orange County Infiniti on ebay It was a dual AC one for cheaper than the Concept z performance one including shipping.

Mine was bought from an auction and shipped and reached melbourne within about a month, but that was due to very helpful family members, but then its taken about 2 months now to go through customs and compliance because i imported a series 3 v35. But have you tried to get in direct contact (phone not email) with who every is shipping the car from japan?

What size and offset are they?

Yeah its about $600 as well directly from Nissan Japan, so i've just opted for the JDM ones off ebay

Its to suit a 06 350GT coupe. And no not the Metra kits, I did some googling and apparently there was a OEM version on some V35? that was the first I had heard of it though.

Hey guys I've had a look around and I can't seem to find any place that mentions the JDM Double Din Facia kit's part number. Would anyone happen to have the Nissan OEM part numbers for both the dual AC one and regular ones? An answer in the next hour would greatly be appreciated!

Thanks for the invite Keith, I was actually hoping my car would be ready in time but im stilling waiting on the compliance sticker, so i'll pass this time but i should be able to come next time barring any other commitments.

Ha yeah well ive been looking for a new car for over a year, it was down to importing a V or getting a 2dr BMW E46, i preferred the extra power of the V35 and fell in love with the body shape! plus my family and many of my friends drive bmw's and i like being original. Yeah at first i was fine waiting a month or 2 but when i found out i could track the ship it came on all the way from japan i got excited and started keeping a countdown which has been pushed forward about 4 times so far, waiting on word tomorrow as to whether it will be pushed back a 5th time or if i finally get the car. And no its just an auto CVT , but i hear that they can still put some decent power down and i haven't spent enough time with the car yet to notice any goodies, but i do know its a premium model with leather/ suede seats, the pop up navi and the 18" 7 spoke wheels that come with the sports pack. Although im pretty sure its an aftermarket part but there was some sort of mitsubishi electrical attachment to the left of the centre console, it looked like some sort of SD card reader but I didn't get a good enough look at it.

Oh wow you have no idea, the past 2 weeks ive been calling my compliance guy non-stop, he is probably sick of me by now haha but he has been great about it. As far as mods go ive been cruising the G35 driver threads for the past couple months and ive made a small list, but for starters im planning on a 5/16 plenum spacer, jwt pop charger & a z-tube from a 350z and also looking at some double din headunits to put in once i get a conversion kit. I've made a massive list of mods but its probably just my mind going nuts whilst waiting for the car. More than anything i want to make sure my V has great handling and also decreasing the gap between the engines recorded hp and hp at the wheels I'm pretty sure im sounding nuts but im a stickler for the details, also shows ive got to much spare time on my hands haha.

Hey guys ive been on the forum since '10 now if i remember right though i never really posted, i had a 99 R34 GT-T for a brief period but got rid of it, have had a old school '89 bmw E30. But good news is i have bought a 06 V35 from japan, she was loaded on to a ship bound for Melbourne in a couple of weeks so i can't wait to get it but thought I would say hey to all V-lovers out there! and if anyone has any great tips, feel free to through them my way, hopefully I will get to know many of you well.
