3 Disc sets for a whole season is more than likely just VCDs that have been put onto DVD. The quality will be really really crap! 24 eps for a season, /3 = 8 per disc. They'll more than likely be DVD-5s as well ... what else can I say. Hobby japan sells lots of priate stuff so I'd be careful, china or other asian imports (that are pirates). A friend of mine got End of Evangelion and Death and Rebirth on DVD about a year before they were actually released in Oz. The quality was crap and they might as well of downloaded a fan sub off the net (the quality would have been better). Now a note for all those who download da fan subs. As far as I know Madman is pretty happy with people downloading and sharing fansubs as long as they arn't licensed as yet in Australia. (Not that I'm saying it's legan anyways but we just don't look). I'll talk to the boss about group buys too.

Ahah! Guess it will be at all the normal DVD vendors. I'm sure it will be at places like JB and EB though! As far as I know so far it's going to be pretty much the american version but PAL. Sorry about that. But at the same time a good thing as it comes with both a Jap (with subs) cut and an american cut so that's a good thing. As far as I know the sub translation is pretty good though I'm not yet sure of the rating (they may have dulled it down a little if it's going to be released as PG, but here's hoping it's M - I'll tell you tomorrow at work).
