I didn't realise I posted up split front/dump pipe, was probably just gonna go for the bellmouth, thanks for the link little bit exey but ill deff take it into consideration tho, Ill see how my tax return works out. Just reading through i've heard alot of ppl say to just go the bellmouth? Not sure tho. Was maybe gonna chuck one of the just jap stainless steel bellmouths on and go a Catco. The only good turnflows ive seen are exey too, not too keen on getting a cooling pro or anything like that. Do you know of any turnflows that are equivalent in quality to the HDI's? Hey, I'm fairly new to SAU. The names Jaylon and I'm from QLD. Bought my first Skyline a few months back, haven't been able to fully drive it yet tho coz I'm still on my P's but I'll be off them in a month. I bought an R34 GTT, it came pretty stock so I'm in the process of achieving 200rwkw, for now I'm driving round an N/A S13 sr20. The 34 came with SplitFires, lowered suspension, and a turbotimer. So far I've added a GReddy PE II exhaust, TurboTech boost controller running 10psi. It had a misfire so I took her apart (which you have to just to get to the coils and plugs) so I replaced the plugs and shes running purrfect now. Next on the list is getting a split front/dump pipe and high flow cat, then gonna get a Hybrid FMIC, then gonna get a NIStune. Hopefully Ill see some of you guys at some meets! Cheers, Jaylon.

Good idea! I'll check for loose screws, if that doesn't fix it I'm able to replace the gaskets myself. Yeah they are cheap, but I lost too much money at the casino this pay haha. Can't wait till tax return, gonna finish off the exhaust with dump and front pipes, high flow cat, and FMIC

Thanks, Yer I cleaned it all up pretty thoroughly. Changed all the plugs as well and now there's no misfire! The car blew the tiniest bit of smoke from the oil when I first started it but now it's all good. Half a mission just getting into the plugs tho, I'll check it again in a couple of weeks when I have some more money whether I'll replace the rocker cover gaskets.

Cheers, Got stuck into it again yesterday, I used paper towels to soak up most of the oil. Looks like the guy that sold it to me lied about putting in new spark plugs just before i bought it haha. It's so dirty in there I doubt any mechanic had been under there in a couple of years ay.

My R34 GTT has been misfiring even more since I turned the boost up to 10psi, finally got a chance to take her apart, wanted to check the coilpacks to see if they had any cracks in them. Found out they a splitfires so pretty stoked about that, but as I started going through each one to check them and also check the plugs I noticed a lot of oil sitting above two of the coils. Anyone had this issue before? I'm pretty sure it's oil, if it were petrol I would be able to smell it. And is it safe for me to clean up the oil then take the coilpack out to check the plugs? scared I might get crap inside the cylinder head. Thanks in advance! Jaylon.

Haha tru. Hmm I think I might just stick with the stocko's for the moment, gotta buy new coils and spark plugs and few other stuff first.

yer I don't care bout lookin at it while driving. It's just to make sure I set the boost right, and to make sure it doesn't creep or anything. So only 60mm gauges can fit? I like the look of the autometre ones but I don't think they make it in 60mm.

Do you sell the HDi SBG-D Plug & Play 60mm Boost Gauge by itself? If you do, do you know if it'll fit into the stock triple cluster pod of a R34 GTT?? Cheers.

True, damn that sucks I like the look of these. Do you know if it's easy to install one where the stock gauge is at the moment in that cluster? I really don't want a random boost gauge on my dash or anything, want to keep it as stock looking as possible.

Hey I've installed a TurboTech manual boost controller on my R34 GTT, I thought I would be fine reading the pressure from the stock gauge coz I have a conversion table that shows kg/cm2 to psi. But I'm not full clear on the gauge itself, here it is below: where it says "+1" (circled in yellow) does that mean 1 or is it an estimate of roughly 1?? In psi that would be 14.22psi. So I'm assuming the line halfway between "0" and "+1" is 0.5 which would be 7.11psi. This would mean if I'm wanting 10 psi then I would want it at where the green line is, 0.70 kg/cm2 = 9.96psi. Can someone please help me out here. The last thing I want is for it to be boosting at 15psi and ending up with bits of ceramic through my engine. Thanks in advance!
