  1. i dont know why but i cant change my first post, any suggestions? anyways... is there any interest?... price $20,000 is negotiable, or would consider swaps... my daily shit itself, and rather than fix it i would prefer to get somethin else.
  2. finally i got a chance to get my pics resized and put up... here they are, enjoy
  3. hey people, Car: 1993 R32 GTR, Gun metal grey, basically stock. Location: Liverpool, NSW Description: the car is basically stock apart from a cat back stainless exhaust, Greddy turbo timer and a unknown brand speed cut, which were all on the car when i got it. the car is very clean, not a spot of rust, its has 98xxx km's on the clock, have not had an issue with it... not sure if all gtr's come standard with it but i got the 320 km/h dash. not sure what else to say, the car pretty much speaks for itself. Reason for sale: i have had the car for over a year now, and i have been waiting to drive it due to me being a p plater and obviously not being able to drive a turbo'd car, so im sick of waiting and want to build something different now, something i can actually drive and not jus clean haha. rego: will put a fresh 12 months of rego on it when sold, or alternatively will reduce price and sell un-rego'd. ...if there is anything i missed just let me know or anything else you want to know and i will get back to you as soon as i can Price: $21,000 if interested call me (Marc) on: 0412 306 857, anytime after 5pm. p.s... will try and get some more pics up tonight
  4. yer I am aware that the pump just feeds it up... and the oil doesnt get back down fast enough... but I am only changing the pump because of how hard the motor will be revving, cause i dont want it breaking on me in a hurry. as i said... im going to attempt to make an oil return system, whether it be gravity feed or pumped im not sure yet... but if it works I will post it up for all to see, key word being *if*
  5. ok well i didnt know you need to pull the engine apart to change the oil pump... im not to familiar with the rb motors, i am more familiar with old holden motors, but totally different kettle of fish. im thinking of either the nismo pump, or maybe something better...im not sure because i know that i will be revving it hard, and it will more than likely see the limiter a few times... will the nismo cop the punishment? but im gonna stick to the second option hahaha ... i want it stock to begin with, but more than likely i will build it with some more balls... when I get the time to build it.
  6. yer I am aware of that, but cant hurt to inforce the point hahaha. I am going to try and make a oil return system... im pretty sure I can get the oil back into the sump fast enough, but the only problem is that im not sure if even though the oil is back in the sump, if when cornering the problem will still occur
  7. yer I see your point... but is kind of hard not to take it to the track if that is what I bought it for.
  8. fair enough... thanks for that info...im just trying to see if there is a way around not having to take the motor out, but its not looking to good atm.
  9. man that sucks... would freakin hate that happening so how did you get around the problem? baffled sump? so it is enevitable...im gonna have to take the motor out of the car?
  10. Hello people, I am new to the forum so please bare with me. and my apologies to bring up an old thread but I was reading it and it was relevant to a problem i mite have in the near future. I just went and got myself a R32 GTR... but my car is going to be for a track car only (for now anyways) ...and there are just a few things i would like to know about this oil starvation problem, i know that this has been covered many times as previously stated, but there a couple of aspects that have been danced around but not answered for me. the things I would like to know is: 1. I have read on "wikipedia" (not sure if its completely accurate or not) that there was an oil problem with the 1992 and earlier rb26 due to some bad tolerancing, so is this oil starvation problem only in the early motors as well or is it in all rb26's? 2. also most people that talk about this problem are also upgrading the motor... I am however leaving my motor bone stock minus better oil pump etc. (until im ready to advance)... so does this oil problem still happen in the stock motor? or is it only a problem when you are looking at big power out of the motor? thanks in advance for any imput
