took the car to the mechanic today. he just touched the inside of the muffler and told me oil was too rich. which is why im using petrol so quick. told me to leave the car to get it checked. is there anyone had a similar problem ?

needle was hitting empty in,today so I went to put 20 litres petrol then the needle goes up and stops at midpoint. then without driving more than 10 kms the needle drops about 1cm .
