right, very inclined to the fujitsubo now. any idea which place in vic (preferably near north melb) carry in stock? or where can i get it done to be fixed before i head down for EPA?

r34gtt i am looking for aftermarket alternatives if possible. but still a pain if its too costly to put an aftermarket one that meet noise emission, then i might just go back to stockies I just might go grab a stockie However, I am not very technical on the aspect to put it on and off myself 16 epa's in 6mths is madness.. its like costing more than 500bucks! hmm if i really do get 16epa's i reckon i wld be pretty good at popin' those exhaust in and out LOL

I am getting very annoyed whenever i think of the EPA thingy. I feel the pain for those who had more modifications done on their cars, and had to undo more things to get it to pass through the various agencies. It is really very frustrating when you are "observed" and not actually stopped for an offence. Very frustrating and very annoyed. I can post this a 100x and still feel annoyed I think many people here will feel the same abt this pipe down operation

OMG!! i was caught on russell street!! on the 23rd april @ 10.40++pm. and no i wasn't stopped, but observed. I am still wondering and thinking when did i go past russells. what a freaking pain in the ass -.- complete waste of time imo.

Was constantly worrying about my car's exhaust getting EPA-ed since i am always moving in and out of the city pretty often, and truely recieved one just a couple of days ago. I don't wanna keep worrying about getting EPA-ed nor do i have the time to waste going around to clear the EPA. I am seeking help or recommendation for an aftermarket exhaust system which would pass EPA, and something that i can stick on my car for good. And preferably also a workshop that i can get it fixed. Am located in North Melb. Am not really worried about performance, would like a nice tone that will clear EPA without having to swap out to the stockie. So any recommendations will be much appreciated

Update from the trip down to exhaust shop on brunswich west, was told i have to change to a stockie before he would pass it. He didn't even hear the exhaust note, but won't pass me anyway because it sits too low. so right now, i am on a hunt for exhaust shop to do a swap if there is anyone with contacts or any place near north melb do give me a PM! Thanks mate~ call the exhaust shop on brunswich, kind of friendly guy answered the phone, told him i had a performance exhaust and was served an EPA notice, asked for advise on what to do, and was asked to drop in tomorrow morning for him to check it out. Will update back on this thread on what advise was given. also i had a shop that would charge 100bucks to swap back to a standard exhaust for EPA, so would that be considered cheap or expensive? am living in the north melbourne area.

just got served my 1st EPA notice. anyway a fwe quick question, 1) do i have to swap out my exhaust if i reckon it could pass the noise test? it isn't noisy but it is low, though above the 100mm minimum mark. 2) how many EPA notice can i be served in a year???

Hi, new to the forum~ Anyway, will be getting my car this coming monday, however before i am getting the keys, I would like the mechanic to help me adjust the height of the car.. currently, it has HKS aftermarket adjustable suspensions on, which makes the car real low, too low for my liking since it will probably hit every hump. the front of the car has a front lip which sits approx 120mm from the ground (in green) and would like the height of the green portion to be higher, like around 150-180mm. so, am i right to tell the mechanic that i would want the front of the car to sit 150-180mm from the ground and for the rear to be heighten the same, so it will be even as well? also I would like to ask, is ride hieght as measured as highlighter in the red?
