I do agree. It looks like a great Sunday coming up weather wise and since the purpose of the cruise is a family friendly event why not post up details to attract more Stagea members....
Just throwing it out there guys....but from memory I am pretty certain Kate's (M35 H3RWGN) Stagea is actually the family coon so take it easy on our new female member......
Installed the Turbosmart Kompact plumb back BOV.....you can still make some funny flutters with it but no farting and under load releases pressure the way a BOV should.....
Took it for a drive today across Melbourne (Moorabbin to Geelong and back). Kept it steady at intervals of 90kmh, 100kmh, 115kmh and 120kmh. If you are steady on the throttle, not like a taxi drive on/off, I could not fault it.
Fingers crossed you are lucky. See how you go.
Good idea is to do a new online quote for your car with Just Cars, see what a fresh policy quote comes out to being even with the higher excess option. If it is significantly higher then expect your renewal notice to only be $50-100 less to that of online quote; my renewal was $1969 from $1309. An online quote for identical cover come in at $2046. No Bull!
Can't comment for sky^rkt BUT
as for me; all mods listed, $25K agreed, $1K excess, wife as primary driver as its the family wagon. All for $966pa (monthly instalments).
I disputed the situation with Just Car and they could not correctly justify the $660 increase and would not budge. So we parted ways.
I did my shopping around and now am with Lumley Special Vehicles for both vehicles.
Thanks gents for all your input.
Well gents this is why I initially created this thread.
I am currently with Just Cars and have been with all my vehicles for the last 5 years or more. It is time to part ways with them now....
Last 12months premium was $1309, the renewal notice arrived and now they have increased is to $1969. This is absurd.
In addition without notice they knocked down the agreed value by over $3k.
They can't seem to correctly justify the $660+ increase.
Hi fellow Stag owners,
My full comp policy is soon up for renewal. Shopping around for better options as you do these days.
Just wanted opinions, feedback and recommendations from fellow Stag owners regarding the insurers you guys are using.
Did the coke can mod. Very straight forward.
Great results; eliminated the farting, seems to be slightly more responsive, got the fully sick VL flutter sound which is manageable. Certainly turns heads when people look that it is a wagon.
So fellow Stag owners, in regards to the coke can mod....what is the overall feedback and recommendation...to do or not to do..
How have people found it on stock motors with stock turbos???
Love to attend this cruise and put the newly fitted Nitto Invo tyres through their paces BUT on 23rd Jun my bundle of joy (boy Lucas) was born so it may be just a bit too early to take him through the black spurs plus I think a better vehicle to take would be the Evo 8, it would be in its element. I hope plenty of pics are taken.
If I can break away for the day then only I will attend in the Evo.
I certainly started a hot topic here.....thank you to everyone invovled....great information and pointers outlined...
At this stage I do like all the reviews in reference to Nitto Invo....
Hi fellow Stag owners,
That time has come when I need to put new tyres on the Stag. It's an M35 Axis with the factory 18" Axis wheels.
Wish to get an idea of what tyres people have been using that offer tremendous grip in dry and in the wet.
Hi fellow Stag owners,
Just want to get an overall idea and opinions on the best engine oil to run in my M35 vq25det.
To date have been running Penrite HPR10 and Motul Turbolight.
Fellow Stagea owners! How the hell do I change the Cabin Pollen filter element in an M35 Stagea?
By the looks of it, a ball breaking task and passenger bottom section of the dash/ glove compartment must be all removed.
All info appreciated....
