  2. Just to point out, that the tacho says A-LSD on it and yet the actual rear LSD isn't a V-spec Active LSD since it has smooth diff cover. So I'd say this GTR is non V spec even though it has V spec sticker on the back.

  7. Spun bearings = Oil starvation. I guess the car was either running with higher than factory rev limiter, with high flow oil pump, without oil restrictors or on the limiter for extended period of time with low oil level.

  9. Forgot to mention that the car also has Attesa AWD switch, Nismo N1 head lights and LED taillights. Will post a photo of the full dash this weekend. Dash has absolutely no bubbles on it!.
  10. Model: R32 Skyline GTR Year: 1993 mileage: 113000kms Colour: Burgundy Price: $26,000 ono Reason for sale: Changing to an s2000. This is my beloved R32 GTR. I bought the car pretty much as it is from a mid aged car lover 6 months ago. This car is pretty much a street registered track car. Good for track days and other kinds of racing events. Also pretty good to drive on the street if you can put up with the clutch and consumption of petrol. Condition of the car is really good for its age. interior i dare to say is 1 of the best in r32 out there! Chassis is 100% straight with no rust at all. couple of panels have been repainted but still in good condition, not faded or scratched except the front guard on the driver's side has tiny bit of scratch. AC has been completely taken out. And the only really flaw of the car is the dash lights were blue when i bought the car and now they are out. Heres the list of mods: Engine: - Garrett 2860-5 turbos - HKS cams and camgears - HKS headers, factory dump pipes with nismo front pipes and cat back system - Nismo 600cc injectors with nismo fuel pump - Splitfire coil packs - Oil cooler, Trust oil sump, oil restrictors. - Alloy radiator - Carbon fibre airbox - Custom made oil catch can by Silverwater Automotive - Silicon radiator hoses Drivetrain: - Extreme twin plate clutch Electronics: - Apexi Power FC with hand controller - HKS boost controller - Blitz turbo timer Suspension: - Bilstein coilovers - Nismo strut brace Brakes: - Large 2 piece front brake rotors - Slotted rear brake rotors Interior: - Very rear Nismo optional seats! Those are the mods I can think of on the top of my head so far. Car is currently running on 1.1bar(low) and 1.3bar(high) boost. I normally run it at high boost and never had a single problem. Knocking is always at around 35. Highest was seen at 42 for a split sec. Personally I have never dynoed this car so I can't tell you how much power it makes. It was tuned by last owner but I will tell you it is faster than my friends 300awkw Evo and from 80-170 in about 6 sec and feels a lot quicker than my last 300awkw r34 gtr so I'd say it is around 330awkw if not any more.   15. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, But I don't understand why you get offended by anything that is a little negative. I was there to just express my opinion based on my knowledge in GTRs since this is called a forum? However no 1 is always right so that includes me too so hey prove me wrong if that's the case and I will appreciate it. In regards to the photo of my car, I just thought I'd post something relative to back up my opinion on engine bay colours. And thanks to the guy for picking on that piece of wood on the battery as I never said my car was "factory spec"... We all love cars and I think it is good to hear both positive and negative comments.
  16. I have to agree with you mate. And personally, I think action speaks louder than words. Lets see when this project gets done and put it to the real world and see how it does will prove more than anything. Put it in WTAC against some of the best EVOs and s2000 and rx7 out there. Or take it to japan and run it against MINES R34 GTR as that is said to be the ultimate response machine. The real world will judge where this car stands
  17. Oh really? I really didn't know that after having 3 R32 GTRs myself.. It is fair if the engine bay colour is close to the panel colour however OP's r32 has a completely different colour in the engine bay. Almost looks like it was a silver car to start with but resprayed the exterior to that blue if you get me... Here is a photo of my red metallic r32 gtr engine bay...
  18. Sure did. Just saying I though the colour wasn't factory. But I just researched it and there is a factory option in this colour. Just a little weird seeing the engine bay is in a completely different colour haha.
  19. Nice and look forward to seeing your power mods. Go for HKS GT-RS low mount turbo, it is a match in heaven for stock SR20. I used that setup in my last s15 and absolutely loved it and looks nearly original under the bonnet! Here is a photo of it :
  20. I don't think the colour is factory colour? Correct me if I'm wrong. And I'd ditch that red strut brace too. It all be interesting to know how a 100% stock r32 gtr feels like with boost restrictor and ceramic T28s. Good work though!
