Good build thread man. 1 thing I didn't quite understand is why didn't you go for a reasonably sized single turbo setup instead? I had my last R34 GTR with -5's and now the R32 with -5's, both are laggy as f**k. And went in my friends R32 gtr with a single T04Z setup and 2.8L engine, the thing has lot more response! You did a full hearted engine rebuild so wouldn't it be better if you ditched the twin for a decent sized single turbo setup? That way you would have got more top end power with better response and less turbo lag. Just my personal opinion...

Are you sure it is a 97 model? It has series 1 head lights...97 models should be series 3 with HID projector lights. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Looks like good stuff. I'm usually not a big fan of matte black on cars as I think the colour kindda makes the car looks like a old shit box. But this 1 really changes my thoughts good luck!

Yeah with this setup and a tune, should give HUGE responsive power. A simple test drive will open interested buyer's wallet for you mate.

I think you really need to get it tuned to make it easier to sell since it is highly modified....just saying.

Sometimes a car being too modified can restrict the sale too....But definitely an exciting car this black GTR.is. Just need to meet the right buyer.

Hehe since everyone here is discussing r34 gtrs, I will break the ice here. I actually like series 3 R33 GTR, in KN6 colour. And series 3 R33 GTRs are actually much rarer than R34s. Just saying

No money owing. No major accidents. The chassis is accident free. I think a couple of panels have been repainted before I purchased the car as we can expect from a r32 gtr this age.

Read my jdmst thread again and see if there is a price on it.... I don't know what dreams you are having but i am certainly awake if you haven't noticed

I'd assume he was referring to R32s. I don't think R34s will have much rust on them form my experience. But nearly every r32 GTR has fair bit of rust on firewall, strut tower, bottom of the rear wheel arch and underbody.

Yeah I know where you are coming from mate. But like I just said, we can all like a particular car. We just can't be be victims of that unrealistic pricing that is all. + when people brag about GTR's unforgettable racing history, it was really all about R32 GTR. As far as I know, R34 GTR never really officially dominated in any motorsports. Maybe apart from that M speed R34 GTR dominated WTAC for 1 year form memory....

But seriously, for 80-90k, I'd go for an E92 M3 or a C63 AMG or even R35 GTR. Regardless it is a "hero" car, the r34 gtr that is, it is way too much money for a 12 year old car. Lets all be honest here, a stock r34 gtr will get eaten alive by the new M3, C63 or R35. So why spend that much money on a Vspec II Nur while you can have a car that has better build quality, faster and more modern. And not to mention that most people with r34 gtr will spend another 8-10k at least on mods to make the car go faster. I know we are all in love with GTRs but not for 80k. If no 1 is stupid enough to pay that much for a 34 gtr, I believe the price of them will drop because none will sell if thats the case. Same with auction, doesn't matter what the starting bids are, let it stay on auction for 2- 3 months with no bidder, you will see how much the thing drops.
