  3. Can anyone give me a heads on how much its goin to cost me to get a core plug replaced because one of mines got a dirty big hole in it! I noticed i while ago that my car ( r33 gtst sedan, rb25det) was using a a little bit of water, but monitoring my temp and it was all good. But unfortunately today, luckily only 200m from my house i noticed the temo gauge going up around 3/4 and some steam out of the top right side of bonnet, When i got into my garage i popped my hood to find the core plug just above the oil filter was leaking. once the water had stopped i saw i lovely hole in there!! So as above can anyone give me an estimate on how or if i can do it myself, i do all my own services and have sound mechanical knowledge, but never done any core plug changing Thanks for your help in advance! G
  4. You should buy a 4dr r33 with a gtr front guards 290rwhp oooh like mine better than fkin everythin it also has a motec exhaust but i fried my piston rings and can still outrun the cops!!
  5. Hey guys i have searched the forums and cant seem to find anything! Can you guys give me a part number or a website where i can find it! Its the multi rib belt for the fan belt to alternator i am stuck in a remote minesite and the guys in town cant help me all that much!   6. so if you are changing your plenum, why would you buy an intercooler kit which supports you current setup. you mayswell buy a cooler and have the plumbing done separately as they will not match up! dont know i suppose if you are not getting the plenum for while it would ok and you could modify plumbing later? dunno!

  8. not to much wrong with nissan coil packs, although my mate and i were testing everything in car to find around 100hp loss at wheels, and whilst testing coilpacks we just sat them on the top over the rocker cover and turned it over and the rubbery shroud let quite a lot of spark out, so we covered them in electrical tape to stop any spark loss. but this wasnt prob it turned out to be timing on exhaust cam. not to sure if this answers your q, but i think the sr packs are different to rb packs anyway, cant remeber. ok now i'm blabbering bye bye

  15. i drove a vh with 253 once, that was awesome i drove one of my mates vs clubbie with a fair bit of work and felt like it had balls all time but was only as quick as my skyzer i have been in a 700hp commo and that was umm nuts just bagged up all time didnt even know you were sideways until he backed off and kicked back in! but yeh stick to my nissans thanks!
