rb25 you would think that yours and mine should be making more power, they are around 180-190 standard from factory? there is wear and tear but we had an older supra on there similar mods 4 years older no rebuild more kms and put out 200rwhp and they come out with 187kw factory same as skyzers i think?

Yeh that sounds about right, i was thinking about testing the coil packs off a mates ca18, but not to sure if they are the same amp, voltage i'd say they would be if not very close.

sounds like car has similar mods as mine not to sure if yours is full 3" is turbs back, butwe did notice that the standard cooler is crap as we were spraying water on it and was just drying so quickly, fmic would be handy, even yours to mine 134 to 170 is a big diff!!

yeh i know would coil packs rob me of that much power, the air fuel ratio was cool, the curve looked ok then bang straight back down at around 4000-5000, which is where my misfiring is, hmmmmmm, i have found that it only seems to happen under heavy load, ieif i run the accelerator easing it on lightly all the way to redline, it seems to pull the right way, but if just plant my foot nothin after the 4ish you just get the missing,

Ok dudes i know i have some sort of issue with the car missing at around 4-5000rpm, which after much messin around we figure its gong to be coil packs. We ran my car up on the dyno at my mates wshop on the weekend and ony made 134rwhp this was just over 4000 rpm the car is r33 4door rb25det iridiums at 0.8 knn filter full 3" although cat isn't hi-flowed bleed valve standard boost ( we changed the boost in increments from 7-10psi and onlly made 2-7 hp difference this was extremely concerning as it only put out about as much as my 900kg datto which is still pathetic. any one else seen these types of figures. I know there is nothing wrong with the dyno as it is the one from the recent summernats hp heroes the one that ran 1470rwhp on it, apparently most accurate in oz. i will have to tune next week but i wouldnt think that coil packs would make that much difference would they we should expect arount 200-210rwhp comments thoughts

I was taken to the cop station on the first day i had my license years ago but i was towing this guy on his skateboard and drove out of a car park, thinkin he was gone and lookedin rear view mirror and he had stacked it. some old hag dobbed me in to the cops. so here i am on my bday getting interogated like i was on murder charges, they charged me dangerous driving causing bodily harm max penality 2yo loss license 2000$ fine possiblty of jail under 18 so this was out of the q, but anyway point of my story i was toldby police that i could pick my interview tape up after the hearing so i went down there after the hearing only for them to tell me i had to get it before the hearing was over. i got a good lawyer got the charge brought down to dangerous driving pleaded guilty but was only made to do a defensivedriving course and have no conviction or record. i got my own back about a year later when i was working in video store and the cop came in that charged me andhe had a heap of porn and just hey hows it goin mr blah blah and hes like oh oh how did you know that was my name, i just smiled and said oh i just got a good memory. seek legal advice but if you plead not guilty it may be taken to trial and if you lose you will be up for big $$$

yeh traced it backed prolly what i have should have donein the first place, and goes to the other end of the cable huh fancy that and yeh looks there was some kind of stacker whatever, but is now gone!! it also explains the hole in the battery/computer cover in the boot.

Cheers gun, i checked out fuel pumps last night, you think i should go with 040 internal or 044 external, i guess it would be wise to also run surge tank aswell?

yeh i have thought about because isnt that when it hits the higher boost on the solenoid. going to check my coils this weekend, remove the cover also how any one give me any ideas on how i easily check the solenoid? cheers

i know what gapping them does but whats the point if i dont need to?

How essential is it to gap them back to .8 rather than 1.1 if i'm not running huge boost or anything like? is it possible to safely gap iridiums as the tip is so fine?

I think i have a similar problem when i accelerate hard i hit about 5000rpm then you jusT get a flat spot or misfiring, but then sometimes it seems ok? just in the process of purchasing fuel pump, i might try the idea of the battery? any other thoughts car is r33 rb25det standard boost full 3" knn has iridiums still at 1.1mm any other thoughts i have changed plugs cleaned air filter changed fuel filter clean afm so i have determined its either the fuel pump or coil packs? i didn't clean the coil packs when i changed the plugs!

i want to put r34 gtr wheels on but take off the gtr insert replace it with nissan/nismo/that skyline s or something along those lines dont want to give the ricey gtr impression

don't the 95> or series 2 models have an airbag and i think the dash might be a little different or the controls and interior??? not to sure what else
