  1. Just spotted a silver V35 Coupe turning left of High St onto Burwood Hwy about 6:10 this evening. I left my V at home today. Was in the X-Trail. Anyone on here?
  2. These guys were not smoking. Looking at the plate in the pic above the stock size is 225 X 45 X 19 for the front and you can not buy these in Australia. You are correct you can buy 225 X 40 X 19 from Kuhmo. My car has 245 X 40 X 19 front and rear as a result. The post above where I mentioned 225 45 19 and 245 40 19 is a typo.
  3. Same thing happened to mine at complience. If you take the front bumper bar off the work on the headlights you can disturb the sensor. Nissan reset it no problem.
  4. I'm in, bringing the new V. Better not be raining
  5. If your in VIC take it to FTG Nissan. They are approved New GTR dealer and know what they are doing. As they already did mine it should be straight forward for them.
  6. I just left them with the one key and the car!! No other tags. Your V36 keyless remote has a key inside if you push the release button on the back. I have never used the key though, i guess it opens the drivers door in the case of a flat battery etc. Cheers
  7. Ferntree Gully Nissan. I don't think it is as complicated as contacting Japan?? To be honest, I don't know what they did but I assume they just copy the code from the existing key. They had a few problems to begin with but found the remote they had brought in was faulty. Within 24 hours, they got another remote and sorted it out. Now they have done one for me, it should be fairly straight forward for future customers.
  8. My local Nissan Dealer just charged me $250 for a new key including cutting and coding for my V36. They even put a new battery in the old key. I think that is just superb!
  9. If you brake fluid is low, it will cause the VDC off to light up. I found with my V36 that the VDC light would come on and stay on after driving up a hill. After topping up the fluid it has not done it since.
  10. You can't buy the 225 X 40 X 19 tyres in Australia. When mine was complied they put 245 x 45 X 19 front and rear and changed the placard to suit. This was a crapy paper label that I peeled off again. I will import my own 225 X 40 X 19 tyres from the USA. First thing that the workshop did after mine got compliance was put the Bi-xenon head lights back in the car.
  11. While the song is playing press the icon on the touch screen in the bottom left corner. That takes you to a menu on which you select the second option from the top. Then it asks you in Japanes to confirm delete and you change from no to yes (in Japanese). It's fairly easy but time consuming to delete individual songs. If your brave (like me) i messed around until i got an option to delete something and selected yes or no again. It then deleted all songs from the hard drive and i am guessing it said please wait (in Japanese) on the screen because it locked up for 30 seconds or so. I probally couldn't find it again and would have to play for a while. Are you in Vic?
  12. Nice, Mine is the 5 speed auto type S. As yours is Manual that explains the diffenent center arm rest. You also have a hand brake there I guess and mine has a foot opperated hand brake. I wonder if those RCA plugs are specific to the P package. Would have loved a manual but they are pretty rare and a few dollars more than the auto. Enjoy
  13. Your whole armrest looks different. See shot of mine from above.
  14. What year and spec is yours? Perhaps there are some different options. I connected my phone with the bluetooth.
  15. One of the pictures shows the V36 Skyline AUX connector and the other is the American G37 AV input both found in the center arm rest. I assume there is a wiring harness to convert the mult pin socket to simple RCA video and audio. Anyone know where to get one? Thanks
  16. Yes the socket is in the arm rest or center glove box under the removable shelf. But what type of connector is required to get AV into this AUX?
  17. Chris, In the arm rest is a 12 V socket and a multi pin connector. Do you know what type of connector this is and perhaps which pins are for AV? Thanks Chris

  19. Thanks Chris, I'll go look
  20. Andy, Thanks for the offer, very kind of you. I'm in Melbourne so I'll have to pass. Chris suggests the tuner is in the arm rest, I'll go and have a look.Cheers Chris
  21. Anyone know where the AUX input is on the V36. There is a button but no sockets that I can find that are accessible anyway. Just wondered if there was such a thing as a DVB tuner that can run through the AUX. Thanks
  22. I found you have to delete one song at a time. My car was delivered with the usual Japanese favorites, ABBA The Beatles etc and lots of Japanese songs. I then found a way to erase all the songs on the drive in one go but as i had no clue what I was reading on the screen i guess i got lucky. You can also play music from the compact flash card reader. So far I have tested and recognised an 8 gig card. not sure if it actually sees all 8 gig though as i only had a few albums on to test.
