  1. even though it hurts me to say, the 2jz is a much stronger motor all around. Oil Delivery wise, pistons, rods, bearings, etc. my mate - has a Supra with a T51r running 10s of a completely stock motor. Search FUS01 on youtube, you'll see heaps of videos. 450rwkw and 900nm of torque.
  2. they are already in australia...
  3. I'm a tuner, and a car running 10.7:1 afrs just bog down too much. It might be possible to make that sort of power with a heaps big turbo, but I hardly see it happening with a GT30 or something that size. There so many factors involved. I also agree with Adriano - There is no such thing as a freak car. There is a reason why the car behaves like that.
  4. I run water methanol injection. ok here are a few tipes - 1. Find another tuner. THis guy has no idea. 2. A Decent Watermethanol kits is $800. There is no way you could get a kit for $50. What, a washer bottle pump and a few $2 hoses? SOunds like dead engine to me. 3. I run water methanol injection AND a Large FMIC. I spray the water methanol through the intercooler for more effect. http://www.full-throttle.com.au/Engine/Boost%20Cooler.htm
  5. oh, and you simply can't make 270rwkw on 10.7:1 afrs...
  6. ok, well, 2 things - Do they come with some sort of warranty, and would you take $430 for them? How long were they "tested" for? Were they only bought to see if your current packs were stuffed? Oh, and will these fit, meaning are you able to put the Engine Center cover back on? (So it looks stock) Thanks. Sorry about all of the questions.
  7. I'm keen, reason for sale.
  8. if standard ecu, then no more than 11psi
  9. why would you buy an ECU that can only run 4 injectors for a 6 injector car? Don't be an idiot and get the one suited for your car (six injector version)
  10. Get some NGK BKR7E plugs. I'm not 100% sure if they are for the R34, but I have a R33 and use them - and they are perfect plugs.
  11. Its most likely not going to fix the problem but throw those iridiums in the bin to start off with. Then maybe check your coilpack connections - That could fix it.
  12. NOt really, it would come on boost extremely late on a RB20. Like around 4600+rpm late..
  13. look I'm not wanting to sound rude or anything, but to confirm you are correct on the price - you want $15,000 for those plates?
  14. you'd be able to see the separator plate from looking in the ends with a torch. This intercooler would be excellent. The air spends a lot more time in the intercooler than a normal 600 x 300 x 75 mm one.
  15. doesn't look too bad at all. Would do wonders for stock plumbing on a Standard Skyline
  16. I got both done for about $100
  17. Risking is right. But knock at 25 is nothing to worry about (unless your knock sensors are bad). Audible knock is 40 and over I have discovered - but thats my knocksensors. Everyones are different.
  18. definately get some pics!
  19. Rubbish mate. I'm pretty sure all that will do is install between the AFM and plug, and reduce the voltage slightly. That will in turn Trick the engine into running leaner AFRs. I'd just buy a SAFC or PowerFC.
  20. I apologise for my harsh comment, but please, people that buy turbo cars and that even THINK for a single second that they are going to do the modding themselves should know something as simple as this.
  21. holy shit, a 1.06a\r rear on a 2.5l motor? Did it come onto boost at about 9,000rpm? lol
  22. Screamers are a cop magnet. I'd get it plumbed back man. Hurry up and get the dyno sheet up too! oh, and the CHRA number on the turbo as Dale FZ1 said. I want to see what sort of turbo it is.
  23. Nissan Dealer? I get all my gaskets at a damn good price, and usually overnight.
