  1. are you crazy? I wish I could get a RB26 to fit my RB25easily. The adapters are so hard to find!
  2. thats cool. Hey, do you have a recommended Height setup between front and back? For example, my front and back heights are 15mm different (back is higher), could this cause issues with types of driving eg. Dragstrip, and daily driving?
  3. I want to get the powerfc boost controller kit for a few reasons: 1. Its easy to install, no extra crap on the dash 2. I have a 7psi actuator, and I'm using the $22 boost controller to bleed that to 18psi 3. I want something that I can set at higher boost levels, safely. 4. I want something that won't spike, or shake the shit out of the Boost guage needle. I like the idea of the powerfc boost control kit being $350 too...
  4. hey sk, are you able to help.. Sorry if I'm being pushy.
  5. no, even if they don't leak, if you are running afms and a perfect non leaking BOV then you will still stall and puff smoke off the throttle.
  6. why are these taking so long to hit the shores...
  7. is the RB30 put together? It would have to be shipped if I wanted it.. What have you done to it to improve it ie: Is the VVT setup Whats the static compression Have you moved all the idler tensioners etc Let me know Thanks
  8. do you have a vent to atmosphere bov?
  9. haha wtf? :laughing-smiley-014:
  10. nope, the q45 is HEAPS bigger than stock, so you'll need some form of adapter. Get a z32, its a direct replacement. How do I know? I'm using a q45 But on a Garrett GT30..
  11. Ok, so I've finally found the right thread to post in... SOrry about this... I'll learn to read a little more before posting. hey sk... My JIC coilovers are rattling and looks like they need a rebuild. I need to get rid of them I think. Mackay has really shitty roads, but I like a low car. Is there a setup possible for this? I like my car at a weird height - the Front slightly lower then the back (looks meaner I think heh) Anyway, for the moment I just want to replace the coilovers because the cash storage isn't that great at the moment. Its a 1996 GTS-T so it hasn't worn many of the parts out just yet.. (pedders checked) What would you suggest? I attached a few pics of the car to give you some idea of the height. The measurements at the moment are (from center of wheel to edge of guard) Back - 335mm Front - 320mm Hope I'm not being a pain in the ass. What will I need?
  12. ahh shit, wrong thread. Sorry guys.
  13. why isn't this thread a sticky?
  14. holy shit I am getting sick of these "I just installed a fulleh sick swooshy twirly trumpet sqwarky BOV and my car stalls and runs rich" type threads..... Can we get a full explaination done up and made a sticky?
  15. well, its up to you mate z32 - about 320rwkw q45 - about 430rwkw Just rough figures there z32 is easier on the car because its smaller and the car will idle a little more easily.
  16. yeah that means nothing - I eventually made 210rwkw with the standard AFM - but as I said, it maxed out at 6,000rpm which was well before the car hit 210rwkw The tune was just a little "botched" up.. Running a q45 now..
  17. I'm a dumbshit, wrong thread again!
  18. do you still have the single throttle bodies for the GTR?
  19. wanker, f**k off from this thread.
  20. why don't you get the powerfc boost control kit? its cheapr and has less bullshit in your dash?
  21. I maxed out my R33 RB25 afm at 6,000 rpm at 12 psi of boost. Was running 199rwkw
  22. what he said
  23. awesome. Do you have their contact details? My mate could fix it, but its probably better I get some people that have dealt with them before to fix it. He said he could and to bring it back to him if I wanted it to, but he lives next door to my ex girlfriend lol. And besides, this force electronics place might know exactly what the problem is.
  24. we checked all of that, the screen isn't actually soldered on - Its held onto contacts via bend tabs. I've tried moving it around but if you move it too much it touches other "touch pins" and the screens starts to skew a little. I've even thought of adding external wires over the circut board to get the power up there. Its power to the back lights, not the screen.
  25. thanks cubes, thats helpful also. I'll see what discopotatohead says about the internals of the turbo. This sounds a little too good to be true?
