  1. sure, here it is - rename it to .dat pcy081_final_tune.htm
  2. thanks, and let me know if I could sneak anymore in the lower range safely. I could add 10 more degrees and see no knock but I dunno if thats dangerous or not. I dunno if too much advance is good or not.
  3. you're going to kick your brother in the ass, right?
  4. here is the Ignition map...pretty pathetic hey... It gives me a maximum of 20 knock on a hot 35 - 40 degree day. NOt sure on the WOT positions, but you can kind of see it on the fine tuning on the p13 and p14 rows. I don't think it gets any lower than that. timing.htm
  5. damn thats a nice power figure. I only managed 218rwkw with a GT30r and 470nm or torque I think. Torque was there but lat in the rev range (5k) Here is my ignition map - (95 ron fuel) anyone wanna post theirs up to compare to mine? timing.htm
  6. my tuner also mentioned that Ethanol absorbing water (which can reduce detonation) will also loosen crap in your tank, and ethanol being an alcohol will clean crap from everywhere. If it gets past your filter, it will clog injectors, and cause your car to run lean because the ECU thinks the injectors are working ok, but it fact they are blocked, causing leaning, and causing detonation. So its not really the E10 that kills cars.. He said that if you do switch to E10 (which is not a bad option when its available evrywhere) you should change your fuel filter every 3-4 weeks for a few months to make sure your system being cleaned by ethanol is being filtered properly. He said ethanol is great to tune to, as its resistant to detonation to a small extent, and can have a fair amount of extra timing advance put in (he's seen 5 - 10 degrees in some cases) Don't take my tuners words as gospel, its just what he's experienced while using it.
  7. I think I am in love...lol Whats the go with that strut holding th motor? Stop flex?
  8. do you have a vent to atmosphere BOV? If so, then thats your problem. Its dumping air that the ECU thinks is going into the motor, and causing lots of fuel and no air to bog the car down, and pop between the gears from back fire.
  9. is the wastegate arm still attached to the wastegate?
  10. you have a powerfc...save yourself heaps of trouble and get the boost control kit.
  11. did the .8 housing make any difference in power and detonation levels?
  12. you signed up, now all you gotta do is learn how to search. Been covered many times.
  13. did he contact you with a resolution? as he asked for your email address. He is an honest guy. I trust him. He wouldn't rip anyone off.
  14. omg... I am surprised you managed to work out how to sign up. Might want to work out the SEARCH button now. What you are asking for has been covered MANY times...
  15. maybe you should SEARCH.....
  16. one simple email, and I got this as a response - "OK will do. The package was insured, so will get onto our shipping agent and find out, or claim it and re-send."
  17. what the? I paid the dude the money and he said he shipped them. How is this my fault? He said he contacted you directly and organised it with you. I will send him and email, but I wouldn't be making threats, as thats not going to help you at all.
  18. nah, that method does like 2% difference.. Hardly worth it I reckon. And having it running all the time? I'd need to fill it up every second drive.. The one I am looking at has its own maf sensor, and will start th nozzle at a specified boost, and slowly increase the pressure as the boost increases. Its probably the smartest unit I have seen.
  19. when I get some money together, I will let you know my results
  20. I'd be doing dumps before anything.
  21. the 200kms per tank id the first 10 load points on the maps, which haven't been tuned yet. Its only been given a full throttle tune. Thanks for your input 68charger, the link I provided is the exact same kit I have linked. Must be pretty popular unit by the looks. And I do think the problem is fuel, as I've had about 5 people tell me now that the switch from our dirty 95 to 98 run gave them up to 30rwkw in some areas. Just remember guys that its very hot and humidup here. Today is close to 35 degrees. Paul, its not the exhaust........ its huge, there are no restrictions. Its detonation. Detonation caused by bad fuel and hot weather. I wish we had better fuel...
  22. dude, if you've had a bad front end smash do you really think its going to run ok? Get the chassis fixed, then take it to a mechanicfor diagnosis. If you're claiming insurance, then this should be covered. By the sounds of it, there are air leaks everywhere, afm isn't even plugged in, and all of your pipes are bent.......
