  1. yeah I was asking you. Just curious if I just plug the AFM in, will I just select it in the AFM menu, and thats it, no further tuning required? Or does the PFC need to be retuned due to the different readings from the AFM? a little confusing...my apologies

  3. Hi Guys, I'm looking at getting a q45afm, and were wondering if it would be too big. I have a fmic, pfc, full exhaust, GT30 (.7ar) turbo and other systems to support. Is there such thing as getting an AFM thats too big? I know this one is a size up from the z32, but will it work just as good? The reason I am opting for this one is its one of the only ones I can find for a good price. Let me know what you think. I'm only chasing 260rwkw.
  4. pretty much, you'd only be able to use minimal throttle, because if you went hard on the throttle you'd move into the bost maps and it would run really really rich and fart and cough. Black smoke city. I'd get your turbo replaced asapif thas the case though.

  10. I'm pretty damn sure that you are right. Just plug it in and select Z32 from the AFM list, and thats it. The powerfc re calculates it.

  13. I've got a fully tuned pfc and it still chews the ass end out of the fuel tank.

  15. FMIC, Shielded pod, Stainless Turbo to afm pipe Full custom exhaust, Split Dump, flows very well PowerFC Stock Turbo @ 12psi and bleed valve Iridium Plugs Toluene (10% mix) Tested on 2 dynos, both had the same reading.
  16. I get 250kms around town in the R33..and the pfc is tuned to 210 rwkw.. Maybe I need to get a o2 sensor too?
  17. also be careful, I think the Powerdc requires a certain Impedance injector.
  18. Dude, if I were you, I would get straight down to a proper mechanic, and get a Leakdown test, and a Compression test done. This will tell you the state of the rings. If the tests come back good, you'll know that your valve stem seals are stuffed. If your turbo was leaking, it would be blowing white smoke (I think) anyway, step 1 - go and get compression and leak down tests done before you potentially destroy your bores! And drive it steady until then....
  19. I have a powerfc, stock turbo, and the car is making 210rwkw. Its a Series II 1996 GTS-T. been running 12psi for 18 months now, and I drive the car fairly hard, and are always on boost. Turbo is still great.
  20. you sure that 520nm's is correct? that dyno reading looks a bit high for a R32 GTS-T
  21. another good way, would be to grab yourself a RB30 3.0l block, and get some forgies for it, better rods (your GTR rods should do) and some big end bearings etc and adapt it to your RB26 head. There are tutorials all over this site on adapting a 3.0l block to a RB26, you'll find with the right parts, its easy to do. Theres 3.0l, the only thing you'll sacrifice is a little bit of revs, but the torque will make up for it.
  22. I'm about to do the exact same thing I have 96 model with fmic, full exhaust, intake, PowerFC, Fuel pump Just got a VG30 exhaust housing (.63) to put on a brand new GT30 Compressor and core. Should be at full boost at about 3500rpm. All I need is injectors. What kind of injectors do you have? Are they high or low impedance?
