Callan / Elite Racing When I cc'd my R33 RB25 head I got 62ccs (It was shaved 20 thou) Is your head a R34 Neo Head Callan? I think I read somewhere on this forum that the R34 Neos are around the 50cc mark?

Hmmm, judging on an estimated time-frame and that list of mods , I'd say that, 14, maybe 15 cartons was consumed in the overall process? haha Looks good, I bet its going to fry some tyres

Wasn't going to let him single me out of 10 people just because I made better choices in life and own a better car. Not even really supposed to anyway, I didn't do anything wrong. The only gripe I have with tyrepower is that there is this old wanker that works there that I almost got into a punch up with at a shell service station. After fuelling up, I locked the car and went into the servo to pay. I never move the car unless I pay first - I have asked the attendants and they said you are not allowed to move your car unless you have paid. No one else moved their cars either. He comes in, picks me out of the 10+ lineup and says Him: "Is that your piece of shit skyline out there" Me: I stood right up to him and said "Yeah why?" Him: He took a step back and said "Well are you going to move the heap of shit?" Me: "I moved back up to him and said "Watch your mouth, blah blah blah when I have paid for my fuel, walk away before I smack you in the face" He walked away saying something I couldn't hear. He was wearing a tyrepower shirt. As I paid for my fuel and left, he was standing next to his car and did the old knife across the throat gesture. I hit the brakes and got out and he practically ran into the servo away from me. A few days later I went to tyrepower branch on Shakespeare street and abused the manager and wanted have a chat to this guy. I was escorted out. Apparently my car was a piece of shit to him. I definitely wouldn't leave it in their care.

Ben, What's even funnier is that some people actually build cars just to win dyno comps.. So they pay other people to build their car, so that other people can sit in their car, and rev the f**k out of it on a dyno. Lol.

They will get away with it completely, due to age and race. It really sucks for the business owners because its just before xmas.

I'll have to check them out, and see if they have fixed the coil issue. The E series were definitely very poor compared to the link series.

No idea, I have avoided Haltech like the plague after the issue they had with the E11v2 dropping the tune, and Haltech refusing to fix it. Return the ECU with a hole drilled in it? No thanks. That's just shitty after sales service.

This is what I was planning Ben as I am not really into drifting. Just got to find that perfect GTR and strap those turbos on

I'm not much of a fan of Haltech, especially because of the coil charge time issue. I think the layout of the software is horrible too - Coming from the IT industry, I can see when something is poorly written. Even the best Hardware is rendered almost useless is the software is poorly written for it

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head. I won't touch a wolf because I simply don't have enough experience with them. Link G4 and Vipec are identical bar the Software label on startup. Was a tricky move by link to get back into the market. I love the Vipec and hope they continue to better it. The only disappointment is they let too many bugs come through their QA process. They need to test their firmware more. Callan, I will ask around, there are plenty of people that ask me where they can get a PowerFC from. How much are you asking for it? Does it have a hand controller? What version is it?

I know where you are coming from, but I think a lot of people buy them just because they have a hand controller (Which I think is just as crap anyway). Vipec ALL the way. Unless you can edit the factory ECU. What do you think of nistune Elite?

Just a heads up for anyone that doesn't know much about ECUs and what ECU to get... Please just trust my judgment and most other knowledgeable people in this thread / forum and buy a Vipec or Link G4 that suits your vehicle. Microtech are by far the shittiest ECU I have ever seen. PowerFC is even 10x better. f**k. And they still market this shit at $2k just for the ECU. Why aren't they out of business yet....?

It needs to be atomised to the max, and I'm afraid that 20psi or there abouts isn't going to cut it. My setup had a 150psi pump, and the new setups have a 200psi pump. Have you seen the output of the nozzle at that pressure? It's like steam. 20psi woulda make it dribble and be useless for proper atomisation. What you are trying to do is re-invent a system that has already been tested and design proven before. If you do want to spend time wasting your time and money, and potentially destroy your engine, then I guess that's your choice.

It really sucks, this thread was going great until page 21. As soon as dysonest starting posting. He literally off the bat started the slander and trouble.
