  1. I can't comment on the internal gated setups anyway, as all of my mates have run external gates. External gates are superior and a must in all high horsepower / high boost applications anyway.
  2. Have you looked at the Kando t67 series? Brock has run one, and a mate of mine took off his gt3076 ( made 310rwkw at 18psi) to buy the slightly larger Kando which was only $900. They are a very good turbo.
  3. I don't see a problem with showing a bit of confidence in what you do. If someone asks what your product is like, or if I am making a comment, should I say "Yeah, I dunno what they are like hey".
  4. lol.
  5. Its all good. The car blows gaskets and intercooler pipes, and without even looking at the car, you seem to know for sure its the tune. Goes to show how knowledgeable you are, and your problem with some jealous spiteful shit.
  6. Oh, and one more thing, Andrews car was also running bad because he was also blowing intercooler pipes off all day. But, just blame the tune in your simple mind.
  7. No, real people I am afraid. Tuned properly once. All other times shit went wrong with your awesome setup. Also a re-tune because he had to replace the defective turbo. Will be dyno'd when we get time. It was running like shit yet you just blamed the tune even though you had no clue that the turbo to manifold gasket was blown? Real smart diagnosis there. Oh, and here is some proof that you have no clue. Here is a Vipec base map for the CA and SR. Very similar to the powerfc. Here is the map I was given on a USB that came from YOU. I've squared the section that you need to focus on. So what was going on in the 8,000rpm row? Missed a spot? just decided to run 14 degrees less in the last 1000 rpm? Real neat that. Nice transitions.. Few holes in it too by the looks. This is why no one should ever listen to you regarding tunes.
  8. Do I need to keep repeating myself too? Three sources confirmed it, one that happens to be a friend of yours, that said it was pinging its ass off when you took them for a drive. I even have the map to prove it...?? If you ran 20psi+ with this sort of timing, there is no doubt it would ping, and bad. I've seen it with my own eyes too I guess. Andrews car blows a turbo to manifold gasket, yet you carry on with your "opinion" that the tune is shit because it was laggy?? You must have rocks in your head. You really don't have a clue. Also, you'll be the fool when Andrews car comes off the dyno and gets a good result. So carry on all you like.
  9. Andrews tune is fine. AFRs perfect, timing is modest. Your opinion is out of spite, jealousy, and just general ass. You have no clue what you are doing or looking at regarding a tune anyway. Also, Many tuners tune by ear when it comes to knock, I can name a number of highly regarded tuners in Mackay that do this. Its common practice. When making bulk power, then you have to be more careful and use specialized equipment. His car was too noisy up top so I kept the timing down until we can safely add more timing into it. It was his request, he was happy with that, and I did it for him. He just wanted to get it on the track and running safe. I don't add timing how you do, and just select a square of cells in high revs and added a shit load of timing, took him for a drive while it made bulk power pinging its ass off to get him excited. As I said, over the past months I've had 3 separate people, one of them is a friend of yours, confirm this. I've been tuning for nearly 10 years, never had a complaint. Also been approached by 2 shops and asked if I wanted work. But I'm not interested in taking it on full time. P.S - I would never let you touch or tune a car of mine at all. I also wouldn't recommend you to anyone else. And definitely not with the dodgy attitude that you have.
  10. It's all good Nick. I know not to believe you now. And one good way of proving my point, when Andrews car was running like shit and he had to "clutch kick the f**k out of it" you went around telling everyone that the tune was shit. When you only found out yesterday that he blew the shit out of the turbo to manifold gasket hence the lag issues. Before it blew, the car was running great. I was there, I saw it myself. He just needs more practice at driving. You're just another one of those guys who has or sees an issue and blames the tuner, without having a clue. You proved that yesterday. You really don't have a clue and just bag the shit out of people you don't even know. As I said, its a common jealousy thing.
  11. Something interesting but last night I run into a small group of young fellas who actually brought you up in conversation pretty much straight away. (Ended up asking me for a tune too) In their comments, you were definitely saying a lot more than you simply "not liking me". Actually, you talked a lot more shit. This raises a couple of points. First of all, they thought you were exactly what I said, negative, most likely jealous, and obviously deliberately trying to run me down due to some bullshit childish issue you have with me. But my main point - You're a liar. So basically this removes any merit from anything you have said in this thread. Now there is the possibility that you have lied to save face. And everyone knows that arguing with a liar is very much so a waste of time. Here is an example, you just said you have f**ked with the tune in the Skyline. I've had three people on three separate occasions mention that you f**ked with that tune on that CA. And the tune that I have here, I can guarantee that a workshop would not do what is on this map. They would go bust within week if they pumped out tunes like that. Anyway, lying about anything just to save face or to run someone down just makes you sink lower. This is very poor form.
  12. Leon requested those flames, so I put them there. And I forgot to mention, half way Andrew blew a turbo to manifold gasket hence the really bad lag issues. Bug cams in a drift may not be an issue, but when in a small motor that struggles to make boost early, I would have went smaller for better drivability. You say all this stuff about tuning, yet you've never done it before by the sounds of it.
  13. So you're saying if he never met you, didn't know anything about you, but went around telling everyone that you are a wanker, out of jealousy, you'd be ok with that? Didn't see that - But, I will answer your question. The Car comes on boost at around 4500rpm. Its laggy because its only a 1.8 litre engine, with a largish turbo on it. Here is the other issue - The car is too noisy, due to the external gate and no exhaust silencing what so ever so I cannot put timing into it safely until I have the ability to listen for detonation. The car does not have a knock sensor kit, so I will have to do it on the dyno, with a knock sensing kit. He also said that he is going be quieting it down. There is also one other issue - The cams. He has told me that you put 280+ sized cams in the car. This means the power band will be pushed up very high making the car even laggier. People need to understand the bigger isn't always better when selecting cams. I had 256 cams in the 3.0L and it cam on boost very early and was very smooth, no lag at all. One last thing, I was asked to just get it going safe enough to race at the drift track so I did. Before, it wouldn't even start, then when it did, it wouldn't rev past 2,000 due to the timing being completely f**ked up. After Blocka flashed the ECU without backing up the existing tune, he lost everything. Then I was handed a tune that I was told you did. I put that in, then removed it after I saw it. It was atrocious. I still have a copy. It would most likely grenade the engine if used. I then started from scratch. With all of the problems that car had, I wasn't taking any chances what so ever. Leon's car went perfect on the drift day, and he'll even tell you that about all his cars, as will all of my customers.
  14. Actually, I only did that today, for the first time to prove a point. He's been doing it for months. As I said, it proves the type of person he is.
  15. I don't need to look or feel big. Just getting my point across. But if trashing work you have never seen is your thing, then that just shows the type of person you really are.
  16. Oh, and for your information to how petty this started, the wanker started paying me out for a joke I posted towards Ben and Kingy, and then started making fun about me being in an accident where a dickhead run a red light and nearly killed me. From there, it just proved that Nick was just out to be a complete f**kwit. All the way back on page 21. And then he just kept picking like a 11 year old. Hasn't stopped since.
  17. Well, for your information, Nick that asshole started this from the word go. He started all of the nit picking, digs, and generally being an asshole over anything. I know my stuff, and I have repaired many dodgy tunes and slap shop work. I don't even own a shop and I've already got many people coming my way because they are getting blatantly ripped off by other so called professionals. If Nick wants to keep bagging me for no good reason whatsoever, then I will return the favor. As I said, lots of people have all said that's the general attitude he has. Jam it in your ass too Force fed. You'd feel that same if you has some high and mighty thinking asshole trying to run down your business.
  18. Good luck with that turbo then, I wasn't the only one that said it was f**ked. And good for you, you seem act like you know everything but you seem pretty useless yourself. One thing I've learnt, don't buy anything from you, don't listen to your advice, and don't let you touch a car. Nothing I've worked on has had any issues at all. Everything I have seen you do or come from you has been royally f**ked, regardless of what you say.
  19. So, what, you want me to tell everyone that I can't tune and that I'm shit? Usually when one advertises work, they promote themselves. I just think he's a jealous f**k that likes to try and drag people down to his level. Seems to also have a reputation for this.
  20. Actually, he did mess with it. I wouldn't call it a tune at all. But he can keep running his mouth if he wants, the truth always wins. And the only person he's kidding is himself. Apparently he's the best tuner in the world, and everything I've been doing for nearly 10 years is shit, even though everyone else says otherwise. Plus he's never seen or been in a car that i have done. I guess its just jealousy when you get to the bottom of it. Clapson even will tell you that my tunes are done well. Leon will also tell you my tunes are up to scratch - especially after the abuse he's given these 3 vehicles. He expected them to fail mechanically from abuse, and they never have.
  21. Information was a bit different to that. And the tune was definitely his original.
  22. I've been ignoring you for a bit now Nick, but since you continue to be a f**king loser, I will explain what was so very wrong with the CA that you sold to Andrew. 1. The Turbo was f**ked. After 500kms, I could push the compressor up against the compressor housing it had that much shaft play. 2. The Base mechanical timing was out a tooth on the Inlet Cam, out a tooth on the Exhaust cam, and out a tooth on the crank. Whoever put the timing belt on, did not have a CLUE what they where doing. 3. The Wiring loom harness was about to CATCH FIRE. It was mounted 20mm away from the turbine housing. I refused to tune the car until this was fixed. It was already starting to burn. 4. The TPS wasn't working. 5. The map sensor wasn't working properly. I removed it and used the factory Vipec sensor which works fine now. 6. The coil pack loom was f**ked. It was only firing on 2 cylinders when we first tried to start the car. 7. The Tune was the WORST I have ever seen. Yes, this tune was yours. You pretty much just selected a square of timing, around the 5000-8000rpm mark, and just added about 15 degrees on top of the factory timing. No knock sensors, nothing. Apparently it was pinging its ass off. The rest of the tune, was the worst I have ever seen, bits changed that made no sense, AFRs were at about 10.5:1, black smoke, f**ked up, and super lean in a lot of spots. This was your "expert" tune. You RIPPED OFF Andrew and he should be at least demanding back the price of a new turbo from you. Who knows what damaged was caused to that engine when you were "thrashing it at 8,000rpm" while it pinged its ass off. I've had people like Dave Sheehy inspect my tunes and tell me that they are great and there is nothing more that he could do to them. Comments from EFI in brisbane also saying the same thing. Oh, and Mark from Godzilla asked me if I wanted to be a Vipec Agent in mackay... But I didn't want to cut in on GP Autotech. But I can get Vipecs at cost for anyone else that is interested... If you want to continue to be a negative shit slinging dickhead, then I'n happy to actually tell the truth behind it all. I really don't know what your problem is but its really sad to be honest.
  23. Hey cal, you moving to a 3.0L? Let me know if you need any help with the specifics. I might be able to save you some time in some areas.
  24. Well done to you boys Ben, its come a long way. 8 seconds is awesome. 1.35 60 foot would be a neck breaker too
  25. So many tunes to do this week for Matsuri...! Who's going? Should be a good day. If you aren't aware of the drift track just outside of mackay (About 50 mins away) - http://www.facebook.com/mackaydrift Huge drift meet This saturday and sunday (22nd and 23rd).
