  1. My second post was perfectly valid. Wasn't smart, I was just making a simple point. But you want to be an uninformative dickhead and blame your ignorance and arrogance someone else - me. I wasn't trolling, as I said I was making a point. We need to know what has been done to the car, who, how, when, why, etc or we are just wasting our time guessing. Anyway I say it again, you're an arrogant uninformative dickhead and gave us scraps to work with and then proceeded to call me a troll when I pointed out your lack of info. Wanker - eat a dick, and go to ns.com
  2. Even the small mods youve listed can cause issues. Plus, you haven't said why the car was at the mechanical shop, and what the intentions where of the mehanic. Keep calling me a troll, I'll start calling you an uninformative dickead with an attitude, that expects us to look into a crystal ball and just magically come up with an answer, with very little to almost no information. When you post an issue on skylines Australia, you post your mods, and the most obvious thing - what was changed before and after the issue. We can't just guess.
  3. And BSA might actually have an answer for you. But we don't know if you even upped the boost or not so that might not even be a fix.
  4. Nope. But your answer is very random, like you just rolled a dice and it said 'timing'. You're going I need to fault find and give us more information if you even want a slight guess from anyone here. You didn't even have the decency to list any mods. Is he running a t88, rb34 stroker, NOS and twin rear mounted secondary turbos?
  5. Lol did you just pick a random thing and are going with that?
  6. I've used one too, and Justin is correct. Very simple. Gives you the option of storing 3 boost settings though if I remember correctly. It's been a while.
  7. Do you still have the R32 GTR ECU? If so, how much for post, and I'll take it. Thanks
  8. I havent seen this one before? What model of powerfc do you have?
  9. do you still have these rims?
  10. Maybe if dickheads like you and the OP didn't post shit we wouldn't need to worry about the site turning into Nissan Silvia forums. So, might be easier if you left instead?
  11. I never had any issues with low load tuning with my q45.
  12. I just can't get over the lack if ability to do some maths.. And when given a very over whelming answer the OP still pushed the issue of doing it. So eat a dick.
  13. if you have to ask this kind of question then you need to sell the car and buy a commodore. You can't just swap the engine, f**k, there would be at least $3k of mechanical work involved. You need: Engine - $1500 Wiring loom - $400 Brakes- $500 Gearbox (DE box is weak) $1500 Suspension - $1500 ECU - $100 Intercooler - $200 Piping - $400 Exhaust - $500 Labor - $3000 Engineering - $500 Thats $10,100 Are you a retard? You can buy a whole R33 GTS-T for that. Please sign out of SAU and delete your account. And buy a commodore. I can almost guarantee after you buy a R33 Turbo, you'll be signing back on wondering why its stalling and blowing black smoke after installing your Vent to Atmo BOV.
  14. There are clones or dodgy ones out there. Mine wasn't. I have used a Q45 with my powerfc for years. At 315rwkw it was no where near being maxed out. I was running a GT3076 at 18-22 psi. I'd say it had about 380 - 400rwkw in it. The benefits are that it has a larger diameter which means less restriction. My turbo had a 4inch inlet, and I didn't see the point of reducing to a z32 size, so I bought the Q45. Was very happy with the results. its for sale if you want it. Car was parted out and it was running my RB25\30 before we took it apart. Has the Plug and all. Let me know if you are interested. (Im a tuner too... so I did all the tuning etc and I can guarantee it worked 100%)
  15. Had no idea that the knock control didn't work?
  16. I tried the Gizzmo one, and it was pretty shit.... Was too hard to hook up switches etc and was a bitch to wire up. Haven't seen any Toyota PowerFCs at all actually. I can have a look next time I am in Japan if you like? might be a few months though. Keep an eye on ebay - Interesting place to find weird stuff, lol.
  17. all the new updates for FC Edit and the black datalogit box fix this too now. oh well, fortunately the powerfc pro is pretty shit these days compared to a Vipec and similar ECUs
  18. I looked for about 2 years for one - Even went down the path of making the RB26 ECU run the RB25DET and RB20DET, so I could get a powerfc PRO for a GTR into my car. Turned out that I was scammed, and it was a standard GTR Powerfc inside a case with powerfc pro markings. haha here is the old thread where I rewired a small harness to make the RB26 ECU work on the RB25, and RB20. Did it for a couple of mates that had RB20s. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/161511-rb26-pfc-working-on-rb20rb25/page__hl__wiring__st__100 Even hard modded a RB26 D-Jetro ECU to run my mates RB20. Fark... those were the good old days.
  19. you sold a powerfc pro? You need to be drugged, dressed in pink and jeans with the ass cut out of them, and dropped in a gay bar for an hour or two.
  20. if you can get a Nistuned Z32 for $1k tuned drive away - thats the best deal. It has knock control because it is factory... Powerfc doesn't.
  21. you need to search. But, Greddy emanage are shit.... For $2k, you can buy a Vipec and be as happy as a pig in shit. f**k, you could even get a Powerfc for around $1300 and it would be better than the greddy.
  22. It will cost $692.34
  23. Wrap the coil packs in tape if the missing gets less, then you know it's the coil packs.
  24. you can't just mix and match... Have a look at rod lengths in RB25, RB30, gudgen pin heights, deck heights, and crank throw, and see how much difference there is in all. There is no combination that works. You need the right pistons, rods, crank, and stroke lengths for this to work at all. Seriously, do some reading - an engine is a complicated thing.
  25. No...
