  1. Unfortunately you can only go to a max of 1.5 and min of 0.5, so apologies but that idea goes right out the window. Don't be lazy, correct your injectors. Also, the map doesn't scale exactly how you're hoping.
  2. No idea mate, but if you call Autobarn in Mackay, talk to Clint. He'll know exactly what you are after. Tell him Jono told you to call.
  3. Stupid iPhone post..
  4. Don't forget they can dump their tune in the shitter at random times. What if your 200s from how without a laptop? My Powerfc never did this. Just be careful dude. Seen so many of these particular ECUs fail. And not a single PFC.
  5. Make sure you barter him hard, he loves it
  6. Sure can - Mine was a polished finish too. Looked great, But I painted it black, because cops are like a few types of birds - They're attracted to shiny things. Also, your answer to the Q45 question: (Straight off wikipedia)
  7. I can't help you. I've avoided these models like the plague. Seen too many of them unable to hold their settings and fail most of the time. They are a bit h to navigate and tune too. Good luck though, hopefully someone that has th patience and knowledge of them can help you.
  8. Ummm, please explain?
  9. I nearly forgot too. Its a fairly innocent mistake to make. So many things that you have to be on the ball about when building these bloody things.
  10. if you could go to 10mm on each drain, there are 5 drains I think. Thats a fair bit of extra drainage. Don't forget to drill the drains in the head! haha heard a few times of people getting excited, drilling the block, and forgetting to drill the head. It also pays to countersink the holes in the head to help collect the oil too. Only a little bit though.
  11. I went to 9.5mm without issues, but you might be able to get away with 10mm. Just don't want to make it too thin, might split between the drain and water jacket when under stress. Best way is to get a shit block, and just keep drilling until you can see how much is too much. Might even pay to drill it, and then try and cut the block in pieces to see how much meat is there. Seen someone do it with a head after porting. Was very interesting.
  12. Wasting any more than 1/10 of a second on a come back to this kind argument would be a real good use of time wouldn't it... Doesn't take a genius to figure that...
  13. Lick me where I shit.
  14. I'm going to watch this, very interested in development.
  15. I've tuned heaps of RBs, from stock to heavily modified ones. They all need around 13.2:1 to idle without struggling or popping. Also, if you have a dickhead atmo BOV, this also causes issues.
  16. jsut rememeber what one of the other users said Mix sand with the water, it will clean it faster.
  17. fark, the average IQ on this forum gets lower every day.
  18. Ahahaha f**k, this is as good as porting your intake by starting the car, and putting sand into the intake. Dude, you're doing it wrong. Haha this steam cleaning made my day.
  19. You've really given us f**k all to work with. We need more information, like power, all mods, not just a half assed post leaving us guessing. For all we know this engine could be fitted to a monster truck.
  20. Had one on my 3L. Was awesome. Just don't buy the eBay ones, they leak and the finish is really shit. You can get them for about $350 from an Autobarn store, and they come with all bolts, hose fittings etc. even have a little section where you can put your greddy sticker, so you can tell the poor kid that you sell your car to that it has a blow off valve, and greddy intake manifold. The larger TBs bolt straight on too. The standard one needs an $80 adapter.
  21. Fuel pump maxed out, or fuel delivery issue.
  22. That is a gtr engine dude. Best there is. Much better than an rb25det.
  23. No, that's a 300ZX motor isn't it? Single turbo conversion. They've plumbed the exhaust of the first bank into the intake of the second bank, and the second bank spools the turbo. Less plumbing that way.
  24. Steam cleaning?
