  3. easiest solution without upgrading to a surge tank is to have an auto electrician install a step up transformer and run the pump at 16-20 volts. Bosch support 20 volts. Running at that kind of voltage and you are going to increase the pumps output quite a bit without too much worry. I just wouldn't run under 1/4 if you're racing or getting up it heaps around corners etc.
  4. I have another friend that is going to run his Bosch pump at 20volts. He's got all the gear and knows what he's doing. Can post back how that works too.
  5. Friend of mine made 460awkw on E85 at 26psi on his BNR34 with the walbro 460lph pump. Needed to be wired to get a full 14 volts though. I am about to do the same thing in about 2 weeks.

  7. They are a very interesting looking turbo... I would love to run a pair! Only issue I can see is they look long, and wouldn't fit. And definitely not bolt on. You'd need some pretty wild mods down there to fit them
  8. I would love bolt on borg warner twins for my GTR to replace my HKS 2530s. Anyone know if this could be possible? Do you think the front and rear housings would be usable?
  9. I disagree. Kandos are the next best thing to precision and garett. So cheap, and well built.
  10. Maxed injectors and maxed AFM means its either boosting way higher than it should, or there is something seriously wrong with the tune. Edit - Just read it is boosting to 20psi. What turbo are you running? TO4E means jack shit. There are about 20 different kinds of TO4E. BUt overall, you have a boost control issue is and it needs to be fixed ASAP. Keep it running like that and you'll need a new engine in about 2-3 days

  12. Okay from what you're saying, I can't whack my HKS2530 front housings on a GTX2860 core, and I can't even grind them to fit because they are actually too big? (So I'd need to sleeve them?) I have my my factory housings, are they usable?
  13. Looks like I might have a failed HKS 2530. Will confirm soon enough though. We are only 50% sure. Anyway: If I have to replace them, I want something a touch more responsive - Would sticking the GTX2860 between the HKS2530 housings do the job (machined front covers of course)? I'm not too worried about top end. Car is mostly for street / track work. It's a stock RB26 at the moment, set up for E85. Otherwise, I'll just throw in a pair of new GT2860 cores. I've read the entire thread but people seem to be talking more about the GTX2863. Sorry if I have missed something .
  14. Just curious - why only 330rwhp with a GTX3076 at 18psi?? You should be much closer to 400rwhp.

  17. Hey mate You definitely need to know these details. The Walbro 460LPH pump can do about 400rwkw, but that is just an estimate. The injectors are definitely going to be a limiting factor if they aren't big enough. I have the new ID1300CC stainless injectors, and they will push 700hp at the flywheel with E85 at 85% duty cycle. I would consider getting an aftermarket industries surge tank fitted and use the walbro as a lift pump.

  22. lol so I am still confused. Should I just use the Nismo for my intank pump for E85, and then upgrade to a surge tank when I need more and then use the nismo as a lift pump?
  23. Mine was one dyno dynamics, and the other was a mainline, both had similar readings
