  1. Let us know the specs of the turbo - There is a little plate on the core with some numbers on it. Get them for us for a more closer analysis.
  2. it amazes me the amount of people that think you can just install a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator and get instant power increase Seriously, are people that stupid? Its a NEED thing. If you need to increase your fuel pressure for some stupid reason, then you get one. But other than that, you don't need one, and installing one for no reason will make absolutely no difference.

  5. I talked to a Extrusion Honer just recently, and he said to me that you have to watch out for the people that don't do the honing correctly. He says the best way to do it was to Block off 5 runners, and do each runner at a time, because a lot of people try and cut corners to increase speed and do all 6 at once. If you do all 6 at once then the easiest flowing runner is going to recieve the bulk of the abrasive fluid that hones these manifolds out. He said he charged $550 for a Sinle RB25 manifold. I too was a bit disappointed at the price, but when you compare it to a HKS item, for $100 more, you could easily have a External Gate provision fitted. Pros: 1. Looks dead stock 2. Flows more than the HKS Item 3. Half the Price of a HKS item \ Stainless job from the expert fabricators here 4. A lot stronger than the Stainless items 5. Heat stays inside cast better than stainless (meaning more pressure through your turbine, increasing response) 6. Bolts straight back into factory position Cons: 1. Not Shiny 2. Maybe not tuned length? (does this matter?) 3. Still a bit pricey 4. Only a low mount option 5. Need to find someone that will do it properly

  7. I just looked at the torque figure - holy farken shit You're making 670nm at 230rwkw at the same RPM as me. I'm making 702nm at 300rwkw at the same RPm... so at 300rwkw you'll make probably 150nm+ more! going to be a f**ken monster. Goodbye tyres! ahaha
  8. Thats bloody awesome. I want to know how you managed with the factory manifold, and fitted the External gate pipe. I'm thinking of doing the same, but with an extrusion honed manifold.

Its decent 3mm stainless rather than the 2mm chinese copies 3. I get to see lots of pictures If they are all met, consider it sold

  17. oh, and you can't tune the stock ECU unless you visit one of the R32 Stock ECU tuners - I think there is about 2 in australia. You can't just rock up to any dyno operator and say "tune my ECU thanks" and come out with 1000hp. They'll see you coming and take your money..

You see, the mistake many people make is just buying shit that they have no use for, or any idea what effect it will have. You don't need it. I made 200rwkw on a FMIC, exhaust, and Powerfc. You can come close to this with a SAFC, but you said you have a AFC. Its like trying to get a jet engine to start by tuning the radio...

  20. depends on the guage they used too. Different guages, different readings - like dynos. I bought two of the same guages (cheaper type) One read 30psi too high, and the other 20psi too low. Tested on my air compressor.

I simply gave him a few search terms what would bring up shatloads of threads where this problem has been explained so many times before. Not point in me typing out the explaination everytime the question pops up, I'd be here everyday, replying to at least 5 threads a day, typing the same old shit, word for word.   22. Just looking at the engine mods - The GTR rods definately won't hold that kind of power. You'll need stronger rods. The GTR rods are only rumoured to hold about 350rwkw until they bend \ break. So I assume its go a smaller turbo or rebuilt the engine with stronger internals.
  23. Mine with 300rwkw and 700nm or torque was all over the drag strip in third. Amazed at how I got off the line. Had to drop the pressure out of the MT's from 14psi to 12psi. Held pretty good traction then but also started to create a bit of drag (cause the tyres are now a little flat)
