  1. I have a R33 GTS-T series 2. I whacked a multimeter onto the pump and got 14 volts, so it was getting plenty. I've noticed the older Skylines have smaller wiring or its below standard. Have you put a meter on yours?
  2. That rear housing is too big? You could make that power on a smaller 1.06 rear you know, and have much more response.
  3. let us know how you go. If the car has been sitting for a while the battery is probably dead.
  4. you're asking for quite a bit, yet you call lack of responses "pathetic". And you wonder why no one has replied? You're also askign someone to do all of the hard work for you. I am going to do a RB30 build soon, and I'll be flying blind. But I am more than capable of researching things as I go. So if you're nice, and I could be bothered, I'll come back and post in your demanding thread?
  5. I really don't know dude. There is a table somewhere that I have seen, and I'm pretty sure that it neesd to have "HP" in its model number. I've seen a lot of these pumps being flogged off as high pressure ones. You could say: Standard max is about 250rwkw and 18psi of boost High pressure one is about 350+rwkw and 24+psi of boost. Just off the top of my head, don't quote me on that. I'm not trying to run down Slide or anything either. These are just my observations from using these pumps. The Standard Walbro I got cost me $190. So for $160, it could be a standard one.
  6. Here it is. Take note of the Blue line. The Standard Rail is 42psi, plus whatever boost. So if your running 18psi, you're risking it a bit. I was running 20psi, and made 300rwkw lol. But the AFR's were at 12.7:1. That didn't matter though, as I run a water methanol injectoin. My advice, don't run anymore than say 15psi - 16psi. Youll be safe under that, good cheap reliable pump too.
  7. yes there is two. The GSS432 and the GSS342-HP. I have a flow chart at home, I will get it for you and show you what I am talking about.
  8. Stock AFM maxes out at about 190rwkw - Did this with my Powerfc.
  9. Dyno I use is unhappy. Cars coming off this Mainline and going onto Dyno dynamics are running 20rwkw more. So no, its not a stupid remark. But then again, he is running 14psi (which will make his turbo take a dump) 9rwkw is a fair bit of power for the auto to take, so a manual on his engine would make 223rwkw with the stock turbo? I don't think so. A lot of tuners like to make high false readings so that young fellas get their wallets out faster. Seen it a million times.
  10. heh, one late night when I finally got my car on the road, I forgot to bleed the coolant system, car skyrocketed to 95 degrees. After a bleed, won't go any higher than 75 degree now. lol.
  11. what about an extrusion honed stock one?
  12. what a crock of shit most of this thread is about external gates for factory turbos, and free flowing exhausts causing overboost etc. Oh, and I can stand up and speak because I had this problem. Want to know how I solved it? I installed and tuned a Powerfc. Reason: The Factory ECU runs that shit rich and retarded that it creates heaps of exhaust gas and creeps boost. With my Turbo set at 5psi, it would ALWAYS creep to 10psi. I couldn't stop it, I tried everything. As soon as I put the powerfc in it stopped. Then I cranked it up to 12.5psi and ran 210rwkw. The mechanic telling you that you need an external gate is a wanker - he doesn't know what he's talking about, and is only trying to milk you for money. ahahahah this thread cracked me up. Without trying to offend, but someone that can't control anything other than max boost with their foot, is retarded and shouldn't own a turbo car...
  13. lol at "does it look 3 inch" Ever heard of a tape measure?
  14. throw the FPR in the bin, and get a set of Nismo 555cc injectors. They'll be the same price as most Nismo injectors. That will make 250rwkw reliably.
  15. I had one of these. Very quiet little pump. Beware though - This is NOT the high pressure version so don't try and run anymore more boost than 15psi and more than 250rwkw. The flow drops off dramatically after 60psi pump pressure. So 42psi skyline fuel rail, plus 12psi bost is fine, and under that limit. I ran 300rwkw and 20psi of boost and realised the pump was not big enough for this. Did it for over 18 months though and had no problems or failures. But these pumps are perfect for a stock turbo'd Skyline. Even one running 13psi and 210rwkw.
  16. My stock map at 10psi made 140rwkw and at 13psi it made 160rwkw. Then a quick tune broguth it up to 200rwkw. You drive around on the stock map ok, but its rich as f**k. Only downside is it has a fir bit of timing advance in the higher RPMS and air flow. So detonation is a problem. Get it to a tuner, waste of time driving around with an untuned powerfc.
  17. love the replies - The car is running rich so you all advise him to get bigger injectors? GTR injectors can touch 300rwkw. It needs a tuner that knows what he is doing.
  18. wtf? How about you just go and get it tuned by someone that knows what they are doing? Its clearly over fueling..
  19. Dale_FZ1 has a 2871 based high flow. Full boost (15psi) at about 2800rpm on the RB25. I'd say that would be about 3400rpm on a RB20
  20. how do you know its maxing out? Is it actually reading really high volts, or do you think its maxing out because you have low power?
