  1. Sold, If you are curious and want me to make you an adapter, Then PM me. Its a little bit of a stuff around but I am sure I can work out some form of cash adjustment. I can do: RB25 Loom to RB26 Powerfc RB20 Loom to RB26 Powerfc I'm looking at the RB26 powerfc D Jetro Options at the moment to hook up to the R33 GTS-T and R32 GTS-T too.
  2. ok, looking at the extra mods, I'd guess that was a little more believeable. I've still think that the shootout mode you are using, if I used it on that dyno I'd blow right over 300rwkw. Where is your torque graph?
  3. not a bad little turbo this one. Should make a bit of power
  4. are you able to take a photo up the inside of it? Interested to see what they look like inside
  5. I have 6 x RB25 370cc Injectors for sale. I removed them for bigger ones, they were working 100%. Car ran for 18months at 200rwkw and they didn't miss a beat. Tested when they were pulled and they had absolutely nothing wrong with them. Make me an offer.
  6. ok, so how do you know its genuine? How do you even know its the most accurate dyno in the country? I bet if I dropped my car on there it would probably get 340rwkw or something...... I can read maps, and I can certainly tell you that what you are claiming is BS. I had to use water methanol injection on a much bigger turbo to make 300rwkw. If I took the WMI away, I'd drop to 270rwkw - 280rwkw. What you are telling me is that your "280rwkw" on your smaller turbo on LOWER boost is going to make the same amout of power, than a bigger engine, with a turbo that has a bigger turbine, compressor, and bigger trims? I'm still going to say that that dyno readout you have is crap. There is NO WAY a smaller turbo, running less boost is going to out perform a bigger turbo of the exact same type, running more boost. Why would garrett bother selling the bigger one then? Plus it's physically impossible. Read the maps, I can guarantee that dyno reading is way too happy. Either that or come to the mainline here, and you'll get a real reading. I was told my car on a Dyno Dynamics would read 20-30rwkw higher. But I don't care, I use the dyno as a tool, measure my afr's, and not lose my license. My termial speed is what I have been looking at. Whats your terminal speed down the quarter mile? Thats the only way you can accurately predict what you are claiming.
  7. That must have been the happiest dyno in the world. There is no f**king way in the world that a GT3071 would make 280rwkw on a S15 at 15psi. Mine is making 300rwkw on 18psi, and the turbo is much larger. (bigger compressor and turbine, etc) Looking at the flow maps will prove this....
  8. obviously didn't search enough. I'll be a sport and help you anyway. Throw the pressure regulator, safc, and stock ECU in the bin, drop the 555cc injectors in, and get a powerfc. With those items installed, depending on your Turbo, you'll have enough headroom for up to 320rwkw. How do I know? I've done it. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;#entry3100546
  9. sorry mate, but you won't get anywhere without an aftermarket ECU. The Powerfc is cheap for $1000. What other options have you got? $2400 for a Haltek? $2200 for a Autronic? $2300 for a Link? If you "don't want to spend money", then you can't make your car go fast.
  10. bump Come on guys, I've had a lot of tyre kickers. Anyone interested? Tell you what - I'll shout the postage. Thats about $35 - $40
  11. get a $20 bleed valve. You'll thank me when you don't blow your car up.
  12. I will definately be talking to these MTQ guys. Anyone had any experience with them?
  13. 555's support about 340rwkw so 290rwkw is about right
  14. oh, and I've re-tuned the car to 11.8:1 AFR's and there is not as much power as when running them at 12.8:1. I'm going to try and aim for 12.5:1, and maybe a hit on 13:1 to see how it responds. I have a feeling that the leaner mixture again might mean I need to increase the water input. I am currently using a 225ml min nozzle and ramming 140psi up its ass once the car hits 15psi. The Start spray is at 6psi (1% pressure) and 15psi (100% pressure) I think 13:1 is very doable, but carefully. One other thing - I'm having heaps of trouble keeping the boost stable. Car will hit 12psi, and then really really slowly make its wat to 18psi. I have a gizzmo controller. I've tighted the actuator arm a bit but its not completely fixed. I'll try and get a higher PSI actuator on there and see what happens. Maybe I need to pull the turbo off and open up the wastegate hole a bit.
  15. HI everyone, here's a bit of an update. Put in the Nismo Fuel pump, and the AFR's went from 12.8:1 to 10.9:1 in some areas. The old pump must have been really pushing the limits. Oh, and the Nismo is such a DAM GOOD setup Factory like items, and factory fitting. Pictures:
  16. I have a nice big thread here. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=167572&hl= Lots of stuff neesd to be done.
  17. you can actually turn the feedback off on the powerfc and then it won't worry about adjusting the fuel in closed\open loop mode.
  18. this couldn't be any closer to the truth
  19. I can see many problems in this thread. 1 - Too much boost 2 - Iridium and Platnium plugs 3 - Lack of knowledge (The "She just neesd more boost" attitude) Answers to the problems listed above: 1 - Find out how much boost you can run safely, and what actually happens when you increase the boost. (lots of things) 2 - They are shit plugs. Go and spend $20 on copper BKR7E NGK plugs. I run them at 300rwkw, with a 0.8mm gap. Perfect. Changed whenever. 3 - Read. Find out how the skyline works. Find out what happens with the factory ECU and too much boost. Find out before you break your car.
  20. I love the dodgey descriptions of turbos people have these days
  21. My R33 SII (1996) coilpacks died when I decided 17psi wasn't enough on the stock motor and pushed it to 20psi. I assume the WMI would have made it that little bit harder to light the fire too. Replaced them with Splitfire packs and now 18psi all the way
  22. You beat me to it lol. Also, your comment on ATMO being as good as stock \ plumb back - is crap. They aren't. You obviously have no mechanical knowledge, and don't know that you simply can't use a ATMO BOV with a AFM configured car without running into problems. Its not a personal taste - Its an annoying mod that people put on to piss off cops, and make owning a "japanese import" harder for the people that don't like to attract attention.
  23. Can you send me some better pics of your car? I love black rims on silver.
