Cra-Z-Boy replied to will's35's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Are these still for sale ?? if yes I will take them -
My drivers seat won't auto move forward and return when flipped forward and the set back. It still works from the switch just fine ,just doesn't do the auto thing. Is there anything I should look at to fix. Its no big deal I just like everything to work the way they should.

Cra-Z-Boy replied to lankanrascal1's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
so im guessing it came off a coupe -
ok as much as I should say thanks for your reply. I will say this Im not an idot and understand just fine what goes on with cars , tyres and some of the rest. (built many cars over the last 20 years) What I was asking is ,have others had the same problem and what direction they took to fix the problem. And to the tyres they are an asymmetrical pattern so no go but yes your right when I buy(very soon ) the next fronts they will be able to be rotated left to right
-
Yeah thats right I have a camber problem. I cant change tyres front to rear, left to right. Front and rears are different size and they are rotation and side specific. The big probllem is the tyres are only about 7000 K's old and now have very little tread on the inner edge. They cost way to much for this to be left this way
-
Im have trouble with my front tyres scrubbing out on the inside. Its running 19" and its still at stock hight. It has just had an alignment to see if that fixes the problem with no luck. I really want to fix this ASAP as my tyres are about $300 each and one is nearly too far gone now Any info would be fantastic PS this is posted again because there was an issue with the forum this morning

What Should I Do Now? Need Advised...
Cra-Z-Boy replied to Japav's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
They cant hold a commercial taxi licence without every car in the fleet having insurance But this still might work in you favour if they want to stay outside the insurance route. I hope this all works out and they fix your car -

But where does it say that the driver at rear is at fault. There is no straight forward law as there are many factors in all collisions. The law does not exist. My mate is a cop and has just confirmed by SMS that there is no such law but a set of rules that must take in all factors of the law. So you make that what you will but there is still no straight forward rule stating the driver at rear is at fault. -

Once the taxi company's insurance firm see's that you have no insurance they wont give you a cent and will fight you for any damage on the taxi. I have been in the same situation myself and its not nice. They will fight you if you try and make a claim against them Because they know all your court costs(and maybe the taxi companys costs aswell) will be coming from your own pocket. I wouldn't push to much or it might end up costing a lot more than you think. And sorry to say the witness wont count because you know her and will classed not being impartial. Im sorry to post this bad news but I have been down this path myself . I have also just read another post telling you to try and bluff them into thinking you have insurance I would say dont try this at all or you will be facing even bigger costs. Once you make a claim againt them they will ask for your insurance company's details and when they see there isn't any they wont just leave you alone. Also the "person at rear is at fault "law does not exist in Australia and hasn't for about the last 10 years ever since the introduction of roundabout laws. Do a search on the law and find out the true ruling
