LOL maybe not as good idea as I may have thought oh well it saved me a lot of money and that makes me very happy

When I got my V35 it only had one key ,so off to Nissan I went only to find out I had to swap my kidney just to get one. Anyway to my solution. I got 2 used keys from a wreck of a V35 both have the 3 bottons $80 with post This may seem dear for 2 used keys but in the grand scheme of things it's not to bad. Then I went on ebay UK and got 2 new uncut blanks for the X-Trail. Costing with post to my door $45 They are exactly the same as the V35 keys . I gutted the 2 used V35 key and put the inturnals in the 2 new X-Trail blanks. Key cutting for the 2 new keys $14 Coding at Nissan for the 2 keys $45 So all up for 2 new coded keys $184 I made this a new post as I thought most might want to see the much cheaper alternative for new keys

thanks for that but thats how I always do it. Ok let me start by saying I have had many cars and worked as a Mechanic so the checking part isn't the problem What I dont get with this car is the reading on the stick The reading is shocking???????? anyone else have this problem and a solution

Is it just me or is the dip stick a total pain in the arse. Can anyone help me out. Every time I check the oil level ,one side of the stick show low and on the other side over full. So whats the best way to get a good reading??????????????????
