  1. funny how nobody believes you when your a noob lol.
  2. How are these two days going to be like, I mean how close can a spectator get to the action? Can he de around the pits or is bozman going to have a big cry about that too like he did in the first superlap?
  3. They are not as laggy as you think, a mate is running one on a stroked 2.4ltr 4cc vr4
  4. profec solenoids pulse too much air out, use a restrictor. Also dont run cheap silicon hose that expands, make sure you run rubber hoses and keep them as short as possible, run signal from the hot pipe. Blitz dual solenoid is the best, gfb atomic bleed valve is better than the profec comes with an inbuilt restrictor.
  5. `Why isnt autosports having any track days? Also does SAU have any track days?
  6. Oh noes hi octanes r32 gtr is back! and runnning ling langs!!
  7. can we get variable vane on petrol engines, I know that holset sells these, wonder if I could get one bolted onto a 3071r?mmmm
  8. Best sound are the trust ones but you get sick of it after a while, I dont know what you mean by performance but the best bov is snapse engineering, 2nd best hks ssq
  9. There are other methods available, for e.g. with twin scroll turbine housing all exhaust gases could go to 1 hole and then when the turbo reaches a certain psi a wastegate vents more gases into the second hole, its like a two stage a/r turbine housing. Compound turbocharging is also used for a smaller turbo to spool the bigger turbo, done a lot on diesels but it means very high psi, very efficient in spooling huge turbos and very efficient in heating engines. Anti lag by re-using exhaust gases or igniting fuel on idle. Super turbo combos i think thats everything
  10. I understand that but on that link there are two arguments, one is that:- two turbos making both 1bar will make half has much air as one turbo making 1bar(same turbo model as the twin), so they flow the same both twin or single. You will see 1bar on your boost gauge with both set ups but they make ruffly the same amount of hp. The other argument:- twin turbos both at 1bar will make 1bar of pressure at the manifold BUT it will flow twice as much air.
  11. ^^^ well if the super is receiving air from the turbo it will be compressing compressed and pressurised air therefore e.g 2.5psia from the turbo compressor outlet into super inlet will give 5psia.... It would be like compound turbocharging, 40psi anyone? If the super and turbo are receiving atmosphere air then if both run 12psi then manifold pressure should be 12psi??? not too sure on this one. Edit: Let me make sure that im perfectly clear on this subject, if my sr20det made 200rwk at 1bar from a t28 will that mean that two t28's will make 400rwk at 1bar total?
  12. Thanks for the link, so 2 turbos are more efficient than one, great.
  13. so that means that in total your boost guage will show 2 or 1bar?
  14. I search, could someone give me the link?
  15. Thats on slicks isn't it... and what a stupid looking speedo.
  16. Hi, I have searched but couldn't find a straight answer. when a rd26dett us pushing 1bar at the manifold does that mean that each turbo is making 0.5bar or each turbo is making 1bar per 3 cylinders which gives 1bar total at the manifold?

    Check Your Nuts

Mine never failed but damaged the thread both on the nut and the stud, it got so bad that I had to replace my studs
  18. must have been two types of v70's or the guy was high on antidepressants

    Check Your Nuts

Anyone know where I can get titanium?
  20. Im just going by what the distributor nsw told me, they had to run 42 psi!
  21. What turn me off about V70's is the amount of psi that you need to run to get them to work. I like more the re55's than dz03's being a good overal r tire.

The cheapest are from otomoto $4.20 each, same material, they even look the same.
