Thanks for the tip Gohan, good to keep on record but for now Sam's the man. He was great......he was way overloaded with work but he still managed to slot me in and I had the car in a couple of days. Really nice bloke too.Totally professional. Proximity wise he's fairly close to where I live too. cheers & beers Jim

Many thanks Vish, hope you get your wish ...... It took me a while go get the cash and the right car just fell into my lap ! Good luck in you quest. I'm still new to all this..........always had big ol' motorbikes and big Yank Cubic inches but this is great. As a newie to all this the guys in this forum like yourself have been really pleasant to me and I've been doing a lot of reading and there's so much information here and I've been inhaling the knowledge from all the gurus who know these cars backwards. I have a lot to learn. Cheers & thanks for the note! regards Jim

You guessed right SS8_Gohan, from the good ol' USA. My cousin is a classic car dealer there and tried to start a cult following on these but no go so I bit the bullet and told him to send it! As far as price I cant say here and I haven't had 10 posts yet so I can't send PM's yet but I'll PM you on that at a later date. Cheers Jim

Thanks FrangaR33. At the moment I'm going to leave the exterior exactly as is, I can't see a reason to change anything. Once I get spare folders I might put a few " persuasive parts" under the bonne just for a bit more nudge. To be brutally honest, with the suspension kit that's already on it and 18" X 10" wheels all round it drives like a dream. Cheers & beers Jim

Thanks Danny, thanks for the message. I'm as happy as a cop in the proverbial !!!!!!! As for as mods go I have to let the wallet re-inflate itself, it was really a tough time to buy this thing and I really took a big hit buying it but it is so original apart from the wheels and only has 65K on the clock I just HAD to have it. Being un-modded I can at least do it how I want to and not have to remove or replace somebody else's preferences but as they say all good things happen in time. I know all it's history too and actually bought it in from the USA.........my cousin is a classic car dealer there, Shelby Mustangs, Hemi 'Cudas, Corvettes etc and all that American muscle stuff but het stumbled on this and offered it to me. The leader of the opposition (wife) was not too impressed but she figures at least it's not another woman so it's cool. (Mind you....I'll probably spend more money on the R34 than the other fictitious woman!) Hope to hear from you again soon, Cheers & beers Jim

Nice bike James, I've benn in bikes for a long time and always loved the GTR. I just aquired an R34 V-Spec and my wallet took a big hit. nearly had to sell my old bike but persuaded the leader of the opposition (wife) that we can keep it. She reckons a car is a car is a car no matter what the breed. I luuuurve the GTR R34 but still love my ol' black 2 wheeler. Had it for nearly 30 years. Here's acouple of pics of both.......I think you'll understand why I like it. If I sold it i'd never be able to afford to replace it. ( It's going to be a big part of my Super) Cheers & beers Jim

After years of looking at these I finally have my dream car home. It had a fuel issue when I got it but all good now. I'm so happy I can't beleive it's actually here. After much analysis and wire following it's finally home. Sam (Dr Drift) in Melbourne found a few dodgy components in the ECU that weren't talking to the fuel pump and pulsing the injectors and replaced them and she is 100% factory spec engine wise. The only mod is the set of 18" Volk wheels. Time to have some fun.......yee ha !!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's some "wanker-Graph of the new pup. Thanks to all you guys who helped me with the fuel pum probs. Much appreciated. Jim
