  1. It does look good. First thing I picked up on when looking at the pics
  2. Ive got the 7spd auto. I wouldn't classify this car as having good fuel economy.
  3. Steve did you paint the front grill black? If so did you use the plastidip stuff they are all using in the states or is that permanent paint. cheers oz
  4. I love my japanese lady. Only message I get is "Shoodo Shimes" when I hang up after talking through bluetooth.
  5. would be good to see a test in dubai on top gear with this and the veyron.
  6. all top gear- UK, US and Aus (which we can watch on tv now)
  7. should go onto finalgear.com, they have 7 episodes of S2.
  8. Got to admit I enjoy watching it. Had some great cars on the last episode, lexus LFA, 600HP Fiesta Rally car, and briefly a v10 R8 Audi. (Hopefully they will test the R35 GTR soon). They are funny enough. The AUS Top gear is painful. I think its the aussie accent, it sounds uneducated, the 3 of them look stupid, and aren't witty enough for what the show needs. Because I like cars I still watch it, but regret it afterwards- like you would after picking up a fat chick.
  9. Hi Guys I purchased phillips style DRLs and was going through the install. Wanted to ask soemone who is electrically minded a couple of things. It has 2 wires that go to the battery terminals. Another 3 that are labelled steering (+), fog lamp (+) and small lamp (+). These are all coming out from a relay box. It says "lamps will be automatically turned on when you start your car, and will automatically turn off when you turn on your usual headlights" in the install sheet. **My Question is, if I only connected it up to the battery, will the DR lights stay on even if the usual headlights are on? Or would this mean the lights will stay on even if the car is turned off? I would like them to stay on all the time and only turn off when I switch the igntion off. What would I need to do? Thx in advance. Oz
  10. 1st thing I would do is get a catback on it and then a tune.
  11. from the middle pic you would swear its running tricycle wheels.
  12. You cant go wrong if it will cost approx 80K landed. At least 40K cheaper than the local market.
  13. silver 250gt sedan on pittwater rd manly vale
  14. gun metal grey with hks on the side. Back of neutral bay
  15. It does appear to read low. The red R35 didnt make what the owner expected either.
  16. it does look good.
  17. I reckon they would cost a bit more than the 370z coupe. Probably around the 70-75K mark and up depending on options.
  18. v35 sedan, white, on pacific hwy artarmon
  19. Its not a supercar. It wasn't built on the planet Krypton.
  20. Yes I did test drive the 350gt (it was a 2007 model). The 370 has more aggressive gearing which may account for it being a bit faster along with the added power. But the performance didn't feel significantly more. The 370 was also quieter inside. The 7spd has copped a fair bit of criticism, but thankfully I have had no problems and find it excellent. The paint is different in the 370 and I think its better quality. The interior has small changes in the trim. The 350 I saw, the door handle material was pealing off. This has been changed in the 370. Im not sure what the isofix mounting points are, but the seat is attached to a metal bracket behind the back seat on the boot floor. I purchased it for 46K, which was 9K more than the 350gt I looked at. This was back in I think Sept-Oct last year, so they may have dropped a fair bit by now. I purchased it from an import dealer in Sydney. The 370 did have less km's (5500k vs approx 12K), came a body kit. Both had sunroofs. The 350 may not have had paddle shifters. I like that no-one knows what the car is. Initially I disliked that the satnav didn't work and that the controls were in japanese. But in all honesty I rarely use a satnav and dont touch any of the setting for stereo/ bluetooth etc now. I think you could get an xr6 turbo or an SS commodore for the same money, but they have more flaws than the 370gt.
  21. Hi Mate You can get a 370gt sedan. I have a Dec 2008 build with the 7spd auto. The back seats are very roomy, as it is more like the length of a 5 series, rather than a 3 series BMW (which is cramped). We have a baby seat in the back, hooked up to the safety buckle thingy. You are right, there isn't much that compares to these cars for the cost. I was going to get a 350gt, but the sale fell through, so I got the 370gt. They look the same (they look classy especially from a side veiw). Interior has minor differences. Obviously engine and gearbox are different, but I wouldnt expect performance to be much different between the 350 and 370. They are fast, but not 'really fast'. Seriously, they are a great family sports sedan.
  22. Hi mate the DRLs are the ones in below link. By the way thx for doing this. With the $ AUS so high its a great time to buy from the US. http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Philips-Day-Light-LED-Daytime-Running-Lights-DRL-p/led_ddl_sku_7c.htm
  23. Hi Cobey If this is still on, I'd like a few things 2008/2009 v36 sedan Eibach prokit springs( the ones that drop by approx 1 inch) Hotchkis sway bars front and rear. ARK cat back exhaust- not sure if the g37 over there will fit on a v36?? Phillip style DRL -the ones in below link. http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Philips-Day-Light-LED-Daytime-Running-Lights-DRL-p/led_ddl_sku_7c.htm cheers oz.
  24. Why don't you do a report on the R35 and the WTAC ? A couple of threads you can get a lot of info from, including pics, graphs, video's etc. Indepth build threads right here. Whatever doesn't make sense you can ask the people directly who are involved. You can even post results. Your references can be for the std cars mechanics and how altering power, aero etc changes x.y and z.
  25. what worries me about a lot of kits is that they are made from fibre-glass. Had a nice front kit on my previous wrx, which got completely smashed up just by scrapping gutters and hitting curbs. Like you said, it wont fit the sedan.
