  1. sounds like some inbreading going on in that place.
  2. Chris, if it was possible to get the dvd containing nav maps for our local 370z, would this run and load into our cars? If all the hardware is the same, is this more of a software issue?
  3. No it doesnt charge the iphone. I have to unplug the iphone and connect it up with another lead that goes into socket to the left of the aux inputs for charging (its a bit of a pain) It doesnt play video when in motion, but I know that can be disabled.
  4. does the same thing apply where you can use 370z springs to lower a 370gt sedan ?
  5. I bought the connector with 3 AUX inputs. No problems
  6. some really nice v35 coupes out there. the above few look seriously good.
  7. I guess it depends on where you live. The dealer I bought my car from said the nissan delaership around hornsby way is import friendly. I work in Manly so I was thinking of going to Cole crawford Nissan, but not sure if they'll service. If the above fail for me, I'lll find some private workshop that sees plenty of 370z.
  8. Mate I feel sorry for you......probably got a big ass canon and getting tuned for an extra 3kw. Your right, I can do with an aftermarket exhaust, just as long as its not loud. There are a lot (hell of a lot) of g35s and g37s here. Also the M series. Most are driven by families and I get no feeling of 'whoa a g' over here. Just Nissans version of the Camry or Commodore. But they are still a great car, even though they are common. Those TT cars from GTM are suffering from heating issues. They cant seem to run for very long without high oil/ engine temps. Revzone in Melb has put one of these kits on a 370z. Its running some crazy numbers.
  9. wasn't aware of that. I went into a 350z site and had a little bit of a read and it didnt look like many of them were upgrading the rods?
  10. Wanting to keep the stock exhaust so it stays quite. My last wrx would literally shake the walls of our unit. Was never popular with my neighbours. Ive always had turboed cars, celica gt4, soarer TT, R33 gtst, wrx, so Im biased towards turbo's, but I did have a look into the Stillen supercharger.
  11. There strong enough when FI'ed. I cant be bothered to find out what 600rwHp is at the fly, but thats with stock internals. Im after around 450 - would like to keep stock exhaust and use the smallest turbos possible. According to that thread, the car still feels stock??? So it aint a pig. I'll be visting GTM within the 3 motnhs that Im over here to see if they do something for RHD. Have a read of this thread below. http://myg37.com/forums/engine-drivetrain-and-forced-induction/195180-gt-motorsports-gtm-stage-2-tt-g37-coupe-gtm-3-cat-back-gtm-flash-611rwhp-47-a.html
  12. believe it or not Im not the only one on the planet that thought they had similarities. Thread below ansers eveything and with plenty of pics and detail. http://www.ourvq.com/index.php?/topic/3117-does-the-r35-gtr-turbo-manifold-fit-on-a-vq37/
  13. GDay Im in the US at the moment and wanted to bring over a TT setup from GTM. After discussing with a guy who did this to his 370z, he advised not to do it, due to refabrication of pipes (a lot of work) Ive heard that the g35s, 37s, have the same block as the R35 gtr, but with less displacement. So their internally strong. Probably why they are pushing out unreal HP with these TT kits on low boost with stock internals. My question is can we use parts that come off the R35 such as the turbos, intercooler, piping etc?? There are so many ownes now pulling these things off in Aus, so wondering if any of us can utilise them.
  14. I was close to getting a V36 sedan (with the 7spd box) from Perth several months back, but they were wanting almost 60K for it. Pricey over your way. I see some whilte e90 M3s also with the black roof, and it does look good.
  15. Cheers Vic. Couldnt be happier
  16. http://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7461 Gloss black on a candy white GTI
  17. I have to say that a lot of people get it very wrong in choosing rim type, height drop and offset.........this must be spot on. Looks great.
  18. yeah they are still rare on the road. But for some reason I like not being stared at.
  19. Ive noticed the v36 doesnt even attract public attention. Unlike my last wrx which had everyone turn their heads, this car gets almost nothing, unless the person is aware of what it is.
  20. You can do quite a bit thru the AUX, but you need to get rid of the handbrake issue ie the video goes off when handbrake released and only sound available.
  21. Glad it got sorted and a very intersting post. To put your times in perspective what would an evo/ sti run with a driver of similar ability?
  22. Seriuosly where would I be without you guys Thanks!
  23. Thanks mate. Got the Apps you mentioned and tried it in the V36. It works but screen is black n white, and it could be sharper. Definitely a cheap option.
  24. Ive just downloaded those apps, and I'll give it a go tonight. Cheers
