  1. Is Nissan really bringing back the Silvia? The concept looks fantastic!! I hope they really build it. The S15 Silvia was a great sports car and it's cars like this that we really need from Nissan, an affordable rear wheel drive coupe. Let's see what Nissan have in store for us this coming Tokyo show. http://www.forcegt.com/news/next-gen-nissan-silvia-concept-bow-tokyo-motor-show/
  2. Price dropped to $19.000. Car won't disappoint!
  3. Why would angle eyes be illegal?
  4. I also have a pair. PM me.
  5. For sale is one of the best looked after Skyline 350GTs around. Extremely rare 6-Speed manual with almost all options ticked. This is the upper grade Premium model with the following factory equipment: -Getrag 6-Speed manual -Original Brembo brakes front and rear -Full Nissan OEM aero package which includes front lip spoiler, rear boot lid spoiler, front and rear side sportsguard -Leather/suade interior trimming -Factory Sat Nav/ DVD/ TV with pop up colour LCD screen -Bose 8-speaker premium sound system with 6-CD changer In addition to the above, the car also has the OEM 19-inch forged wheels made by RAYS found only in the series 2 350GT. No modification has been done to the car except for a K&N high-flow drop-in air filter for better engine response and fuel economy, while the headlights have been upgraded to these eye-catching aftermarket items with dual 'angel rings' and side LED strip. The car has been meticulously looked after by a fussy owner and serviced strictly according to manufacturer's schedule at one of the most renown tuner workshops in Melbourne. Only the highest quality Motul oil and filters go into this car. Major service was performed at 100k kms. Had brake rotors and pads replaced with new items. Gearbox oil replaced 2k km ago. 4 quality brand new tyres were also installed in November last year, they are Falken FK452 at the front and Toyo Proxes T1 Sport at the rear. The car comes with full Australian service history and is one of very few 350GTs with untampered, genuine KMs when first landed in Australia (have documents from Japan to prove). Price: $21,000 Ad on CarSales: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/nissan-skyline-2003-14770941?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=7&eapi=2&__N=1216%201622%20903%201246%201247%201252%201282%204294963846&find=350gt%7cCarAll&silo=Stock&num=15&sort=default Contact: Alvin 0404159770
  6. Yeap my car was keyed on every panel.. It actually NEEDED a full respray.
  7. I don't what understand what they meant by saying you have to wait while they try and source a new rear windscreen. When windscreens are replaced through insurance they are custom made by National Windscreens and turnaround would be only a week max. No insurer would source a brand new OEM one from Nissan, unless your car is brand new off the showroom when you claim. My car had a full respray last year through insurance (JustCar) and the panel shop cracked the front windscreen while removing it. It was replaced with a new one after the respray was done but it wasn't glued properly, so they replaced it for the 2nd time. Both windscreens turnaround time was only a few days. After the claim I ditched Justcar and went with RACV.. didn't know they are just as bad.
  8. That's super hot and super rare. I heard there's only 5 currently installed on V35 around the world?
  9. It's the one on Nightcrawler's car.
  10. Please drive something else if you really want to put those crappy decals on. The V35 is a classy car and has no place for it.
  11. Good for catching those idiots that reversed into your car at shopping mall carpacks
  12. Yeap RACV is cool with my standard immobiliser. They asked the question "is the car fitted with the factory standard immobiliser", I answered yes and that was it.
  13. Metallic Teal would look hot with flat grey wheels on a white car. Not digging the green though.
  14. Had BC racing coilovers in my old Accord for over 1.5 years and never had any issue. For $1300+, you can't find a better set of coilovers. They are awesome value.
  15. Tossing between these at the moment: BMW 135i Coupe E92 BMW 335i Coupe Mk2 Audi TTS Evo X MR What do you guys think?
  16. ^cuz to a lot of people, 15-20k is also a lot of money.
  17. The G37 will have no problem selling at $80k drive away.
  18. +1 for BC racing. I had them in my old car for 2 years and loved them.
  19. Bloody money suckers! From $153 to $176 that's increased a lot.
  20. Today I got a speeding fine in the mailbox. It's $176 for exceeding the speed limit by less than 10km/h. Last month, I also got pinged for the same offence but that fine was $153. So has the cost gone up? I tried looking in vic.gov.au but couldn't find anything on current infringement cost. Also, I felt that the 2nd fine was issued by mistake as I'm quite certain I wasn't doing the alleged speed stated in the fine. I plan to apply for a review. Has anyone done this before and got away with the fine?
  21. Eurostyle Bodymaster in West Melbourne Sheens Panel on City road, South Melbourne These were the two shops I went to get a quote from. They are both JustCars recommended repairers. In the end Sheens got the job as their price was 2k cheaper than Eurostyle. Quite happy with Sheens' work and they were happy to fix up some minor issues. Haven't used Eurostyle but their workshop is modern and they do mainly luxury European cars.
  22. My V35 recently had a full respray, no colour change, just respray original colour. Costs 6k+. If your talking about a surface spray only, i.e. no sanding back to metal and priming before applying new coat of paint, then 2-3k is probably what it would cost. If you want a proper full respray, you will be looking at north of 5k.
  23. Most R drivers have such as massive head they don't even wave to other R skylines let alone V35's
  24. The gap between the tyres and the wheel arches. With 20 inch wheels, it will look like a jacked up 4x4. Lowering does not necessarily give a harsher ride if you do it properly i.e. damping adjustable coilovers. You might also want to consider 19 inch instead of 20 if your roads are bad. Personally I think 19 inch looks best on the V35
