Thanks a lot guys for all the replies. Really helpfull. Couple more quick q's, anyone with a premium pack and/or sat/nav, popup monitor, bose stereo etc how much do you think it adds to the car? Im sure the half leather is nicer but I was wondering if the the touchscreens, etc really get used or are they just kinda gimmicks that require money and effort to convert over. Also even in the base pack the radio would need to be replaced to work here right? Is that a hard job? In the pictures ive got it looks like the radio controls are pretty well intergrated with the console rather than a headunit. Does that mean you need to modify the console to fit in a head unit or fit the headunit somewhere else and disable the main controls? Ok last one i swear, what would you consider better value, stock but faily certain genuine low k's from japan or local model for the same money with more k's but some additional mods?

so that means you guys get on average about ~7l/100km per almost a full tank? I always thought being an n/a it would be a bit better on fuel. Maybe 9l/100km or so.

Time to start building a list. Justcars have a pretty decent price, $1000 with modifications vs $1400+ from nrma/shannons (All between $400-$600 excess). Tossing up if your choice of repairer is worth the $400 extra, leaning towards yes.

Hey, I'm thinking about importing V35 2 door manual coupe after finally getting to the point I can justify a decent car. Im pretty torn at the moment between the V35 and a Liberty GT. Who am I kidding, I want the V35, its just hot. I've check out more threads than I can remeber on them mainly about the car but I've still got a few worries related more to owning them. 1. Do you find they attract cops as much as R32-R34's do? Most of the discussion's dont really mention the V35. 2. What are the chances of ever getting decent price for trade in/private sale? Ive been watching carsales but I dont see many V35's disappearing. I also tried to ring dealers and ask for a trade in price but it was either no or "bring it in and i'll try see if we can help", not even a ballpark figure. 3. Any opinions on how far the value will drop once more V36's start landing here? Um, some details to hopefully anwser any questions before they need to be. I'm 28, dont drive like an idiot, looking to mod either of them fairly mildy for performance (no bodykits, no canons, no huge rims) to try and keep them low key. Reason those 2 are last on my list are not to bad on petrol, decent engines, decent looking, insurance isnt a killer (though the skyline would need to be justcars which has me a little :-/ ) and the price is right (bang for buck). So yeah, any help would be great.
