  1. Had a look at the cefiro coilpack loom and the r32 loom, and found out they had different colours going to different coilpacks. Had to swap green and blue, and white and yellow and redid all the grounds and she turns over no problem... So weird, Even they were matched colour to colour, plug for plug, there was still differences in Coilpack Looms :S. Tsk tsk Nissan. Cheers for all the help Nic_A31
  2. firing order is out a little or major misfire (by what it sounds like) It didn't die in idle, and i also checked the ignitor pack for heat because i thought i got the wiring for it was wrong but it didnt get hot, and all wires are colour to colour :S Do you still think it could be the ignitor pack? That being said it was only on for abour 30-40 seconds
  3. mate went colour to colour and when i tried to turn her on it cranks over but sits really low revs and sounds like its not firing properly, When i put the throttle down too it doesnt rev up or anything also. all wires have been colour matched and plugged into the r32 module. What the hell ? :S
  4. hey mate, i have just got a new coilpack loom thats no problem. MY problem is wiring the loom side up to thing, Can a A31 ceffy loom be wire for wire spliced into r32 plug then into r32 module? Sorry about all the questions but yeah stuff me why nissan made the silver top run on s13 / r31 coilpacks other than the normal silver top plugs :S
  5. true, well its got the series 1 gear, Also its a 'Special Edition' no idea what that means but could be the difference. AFM is a purple label N60. Will that need changing also or am i good just to replace loom and ignition module, as i already have subloom and coilpacks. And do i need the whole loom or can i get away with splicing the r32 plug up to ceffy loom? Thanks heaps Nic_A31
  6. Car is a 1991 Nissan Cefiro Series 1 by the look of the lights and grill. Which came from the factory with Rb20det. Car has not received any mods apart from r34 smic, pod filter and now the new coilpacks and has not been tampered with in regards to Loom changes (by the look of things) With what you've writen there nic, I just have to get an r32 ignition module, and plug then rewire the loom side to the r32 plug?? Coilpacks are new, but were fitted to an RB20 in a s13 with r32 loom. Cheers
  7. Hello, Recently had a Rocker Cover leak and changed over the gaskets. While doing this i thought it'd be a good time to change the coilpacks and spark plugs, as they were highly fragile and covered in oil from the leak. After having to replace the original wires leading from the packs to the box (because they were rooted and seemed to have a different plug than the aftermarket ones) i found that the plug was also different that connects to the ignition box. Having found that the wires are exact same colouration as the stock plug i just swapped plugs over making sure not to mix up any wires. This hasn't seemed to have work as when going to start the car up it seems to have its ignition out of cycle. Anyone delt with this before or changed to aftermarket coilpacks that can help me out.   10. Hey guys, Sorry if this is a repost of another similar topic on here (although i have tried searching a while for some info on this). Anyway just purchased a mint condition Rb20det Bone stock Cefiro A31. Trying to install a boost gauge, had no troubles with firewall holes or Wires to use but its tee'ing it off a boost / vacuum line thats im confused about. Have looked on other rb boost gauge installation guides but the majority of them use the line from the back of the manifold to the factory boost box near the firewall which it seems the A31 Cefiro didnt come with. I gave my friend a look at the engine bay and he suggested a line which goes to the Charcoal Cannister but i've hear on some other sites (Mostly sr forums) that this isnt the best place for it either. So could anyone confirm that i can use this line or suggest another line to tee off. Thanks

  12. Hello fellow sau members, Around a month ago i had a minor accident in my r32 rb25de skyline. The car hit a tree at around 15km/h, didnt stall, didnt make any funny noises, no smoke out the exhaust (that i remember), i even drove it up the road to a mates house where it sat for 2 weeks with only one problem of the steering being heavy. Opening the bonnet showed the front bar / reo bar had been pushed into aircon condensor whiich then pushed in my LHS light / radiator support panel and punctured my charcoal cannister. Nothing was against the engine fan and only the fan shroud had been pushed into the power steering pump. Even looking under the car showed no damage. The extent of the damage wasnt much, aircon condensor, front bar, charcoal cannister, reo bar and one light were all the parts that needed replacing / were damaged. In fixing the car myself i took out the stock radiator, replaced with a custom one, run the tranny lines through a seperate cooler (A/t) and Power steering lines through a sperate cooler (instead of the hardline stock cooling). I have taken out the charcoal cannister also and not replaced it (plugging the two lines going to plenum / throttle side of engine and venting the fuel tank line). When all of that got connected i turned her back on. Only too hear a slight ticking in the plenum, white exhaust coming from exhaust and petrol smell in oil. I know the white smoke might be from it being cold / not being turned on for a while, but even after 5 minutes of idle it was still blowing white smoke. Does anyone know whats happened here and / if its a result of taking my charcoal cannister out. Cheers dewa32
  13. I know this isn't a deffinant answer, but i know a guy with an r32 gts rb25de who put a gtr wing on his. Doesnt seem the type for drilling into his car also . So id have to go with they do fit gts-t holes

  16. Would anyone have any knowledge of how 17x8+5 (fronts) 17x9+11 (rears) would go on a r32 gts-t. No guard work apart from slight rolling on rear guards. I know the width is fine im just worrying about the offsets.
  17. I have a r32 skyline which was a type x non turbo rb25. I bought a r34 gtt neo three quarter cut which came with the rear subframe, this subframe is now in my r32 i need to know what type of coilover or what type of configuration i could use to make it work cause everybody needs coilovers for fun. Hey guys looking for: - r32 front bar (preferrably gtr or mspec in gun metal grey) Must be good nic. - r32 reo bar that sits behind it - r32 radiator support beam (not to sure if thats correct name but its just the steel bit that supports the radiator and has the holes for light electronics) - transmission oil cooler to suit r32 tranny lines - r32 LHS light Live in brisbane so would rather pick them up but if the price is right will ship.
