i always thought that they were junk, but in saying that when i was down for stadium drift in the goldy this guy that was talking to us has a 180sx and apon showing us under the bonnet was like a chinese 2 dollor shops window everything was!!! i was in disbelive that this t3/t4 turbo on a SS highmount manifold and 38mm gate not only made 247RWKW but had for nearly 2 years so the guy said.... and it looks like it had been there for a while to and judging by the car had seen an arse flogging! i would never use a no brand chinese turbo, manifold or gate on my car but was amazed that this car seemed to use it all and work well?? althought he said it didnt come onto boost till about 5k

I made 230hp with 3" catback and pod on 9psi put on a bellmouth 3" dump pipe made 255 hp definatly a noticable gain and it felt lot more responsive.

you dont need to have heaps of power to get a good run in, i ran a 13.9 in my R33 and it only has: 3" catback, pod, 9psi, walbro FP, stock ecu, side mount, stock dump i was pretty happy seening i was running shitty old tyres

if you want the FMIC done you will need to pass the IM240 emissions test, not that easy to get through but you can get a retune and should pass ok. Bascially each engeineer is different and might be ok with some things and not others best off to speak to one directly, if you in Newcastle then there is one in Cardiff and he is on the approved list from the RTA look him up or do a google search if not there is a list of approved ones on the RTA site that is the best way to do it rather than ask other people. i just replaced every bush, new swaybars and suspension setup in my car and i have just developed a few new noises i think half of it might actully be from tightening up the car up? however i am replacing the ajustible castor rods with white line ones as they are rose joint ajustiable and i personally think they are causing some of the creaking so see if that fixes some of the noises?

i had the V1's in my car for a little bit and i didnt really like them they were bit to stiff for me on the street but i have heard that the BR series is a lot better then the V1's

pretty sure red ranger owns whiteline and selbys as far as i have been told by the supplier i get all my parts from they are the same?
