Yeah bit of a dissapointment really. Oh well we all got to have a good laugh at Pete.
By the way, Thanks for the lift Dino and Dan thanks for getting those beers on your way.
Fatz you dirty little man. I'll be there with my drinking hat on too. I might even spew in Dinos X trail. Me hopes hahahahaha
Might invest in one of those hats that hold two grenades so I can take photos and smoke a ciggy at the same time. Ahhhhhhhh the thought.
I ahve thought long and hard about this. I think I'd rather go on a holiday and buy a R33 turbo than spend $1500-$200 on a highflow. Its either that or I'm a tight ass.
G'day Franks,
I just blew one of them up. Bit hesitant about buying the same type. I think the series 1 is a little stronger than both the series 2 and R34.
I will think about it though and let you know.
Thanks again,
Ben
Hey Ive been driving mone around since I did mine on Saturday. The car has no power but runs really well. The exhaust is heaps loader too, sounds mad, but its all go and no show for now.
I suppose you can leave the stock one in the tank and then feed it to a swirl pot and then upgrade the extenal pump. That would be the way I would do it.
Nah mate. It only had like 30K odd KMS on the turbo when I bought it as it was off an R34, I put another 20K kms on it so that wouldnt have been the problem.
Me
Driving up to the Terrigal going up the Mooney Mooney Bridge and then a little pop then no boost. Hooray no turbo.
I've always said the exhaust needs to be a bit louder and today I got my wish.
For all you people who are running R33/34 turbo's dont run more than 11psi cause that was all that was needed to knock the bastard off.
Alright time for suggestions. My budget is around the $1200 mark.
