  7. I got rid of my line at the right time (if there is such a thing!!). Bloody thing was running 9.5:1 AFR and used to suck on petrol l like a hooker sucking on a ............. ahh lolly pop.

  11. Its hot not because of reversion but because you have a pod that is sucking in hot air from the engine bay. As suggested above a CIA will help your cause. Technically reversion would keep your engine cooler due to overfuelling on release of the throttle body. It would be only a few degrees and for a few seconds though, but has nothing to do with a atmo BOV. Plumb back BOV I beleive increase intake temps, due to re-circulation but I have no evidence to support this.

  14. Do yourself a favour and get a 3 inch exhaust from the dump or including dump. You cant expect the turbo to be working at its best if it cant breath properly. 9psi did nothing for me with the rb25 turbo. It really starts to howl once over 11psi. Before you start winding the boost up though, get your AF ratios checked on the dyno. Doc

    The problem is that the AFM is not used to having a oiled filter on the end of it. I have done it heaps of times and never had a problem. Just dont go stupid with it.
  21. You know Dino, the funniest thing is, I am the proud new owner of a white 95 Bluebird SSS. Ahh the comfort of soft suspension, the quite exhaust, the available low down torque, 15 inch wheels. I am a happy man. Let the blasting begin ladies.
  22. Not really a matter of "being too highly rated for the application", its got to do with trade off. You cant have a loose spring and expect it to hold boost in a high boost environment whence the reason they are fairly tight.
  23. Jimbo thats becuase HKS make there springs really tight. I had the same prob with mine. Anything tighter than stock will flutter thats why nissan (sorry Mitsubishi) made stock BOV like that so it air would not reverse. The reason why aftermarket BOV's are tighter is so it stops boost leak.

  25. Its not your BOV fluttering its air boucing off your butterfly and going back out through your turbo and getting chopped by the turbine blades. Most liekely cause is BOV too tight. Do a search on "reversion" and it will detail the ins and outs of it all. Doc
