Could be a worn belt too. My AC was whirring heaps, just had all my belts changed and no more whirring.

Have you tightened the AC belt. You have to take off the plastic guard on the bottom of the engine (near the sump) and tighten it from there. You need a size 12 spanner or ratchet.

The bouncing is the lack of a signal from the AFM and it doesnt cuase any issues as it runs rich on purpose and stops revs at 2.5 ao you cant damage anything.

You will get over the feeling of violation when you get your new stuff. I know I did. Bad luck buddy, Ill help you f@ck this guy up kung fu style.

Not a bad upgrade if your not chasing huge power. You can run upto a bar if your fuelling is right. The thing you will notice is it will have a shit load more top end than your stock one but the 'hit' of the the VG turbo is going to happen later and more gradually in the rev range. The stock is a T25 with a T3 flange. Have a look at Megalla's site, he has heaps of info on this exact mod Doc

I have noticed positives and negatives for both types of valves. External - More responsive throttle but in high rpm applications over fuels when changing gears therefore hurting power. Takes the turbo a little while to recover. Stock valve - Drivability is much better ie not as jerky. Tends to open too easily ie half throttle. When I put on my intercooler is sounds like it shits itself when you let it off, due to the extra volume of the intercooler and bigger turbo. Doc

Thanks dude. Staff rate at the Marriott is $99 per night. The best rate I can get there is $75 but it is high season so wasnt able to get it any cheaper. It cheap enough though. Industry rate is normally about $160ish based on Syndey "property's".

How very perceptive of you. Yes i am the concierge at the Sydney Marriott Hotel hence me staying at both the Marriott and Sebel. Staff rates are great otherwise I would be staying at a caravan park hahahahahaha. Bloody skyline is like a spongge when it comes to mods!!!

The reason it is put on the compressor side is so it atomises better. The problem is it wears your blades out over a period of time. When using methonol you need to be very careful of hydro lock as it is a very dry type of liquid, no lubrication properties what so ever. A way to get around this is to spray some WD40 into the methonlol/water reservoir. Using methonol is illegal for this purpose as it is a carcinogenic, but ethonol can be used in its replacement.
