  1. What are your thoughts on No 1 cylinder starving of air in that design.
  2. I totally forgot this was on today. On my way home and guess who passes me bloddy GTR BOY and |HYPE| both looking at me licking there lips and winking. I felt very degraded after that little encounter.
  3. 14v. Geez mine is like 12.5-13v at the moment. I do have a few problems though eg HICAS. Do you think it could be battery or alternator related.

  5. I think I may have seen a yellow 33 down at Cronulla today. Could not see it properly but it had a skyline wing and what I tought were the 4 hotplates.

  11. Mine does the same thing. I have almost taken out cars when you get caught in rydges in the road. Bloody scary. My hicas light is on and my steering has gone heavy. I think it might be the power steering solenoid down near the rack. Let me know if you sought it out. Doc
  12. You could keep a 6 pack in there so you can get stuck into it before you even get home from work. Bloody alcohol has taken a hold of me!!!

  15. From what I have gathered Sideways is right. They are the same for r32/33 Gttr as they are the same engine basically where as R32/33 Gtst are very different engines.
  16. I think alot to do with performance of mandrel vs press bends has alot to do with what type of bends you are using WHERE. For example if you had a 90 degree bend before the throttle body you would want a mandrel bend. Why? so that air is more evenly distributed inside the manifold than say a press bend. I really think you could you a mixture of both in a pipiing set up as some bends it would not matter what type they are. Doc

  18. Get mild and heat coat it. Stainless looks great but heat soak is so bad with it. Aluminium is good but goos luck finiding mandrel bends, but it is super light and doesnt look to bad.

  20. Your torque guage on the top left hand side will move up when you are in 4wd. The 4wd light will only come on if there is a problem. (apart from start up) Doc
  21. I think alot of timing issues have alot to do with plug heat range too. I moved to 7s and it pings at 11psi (17deg) I 'll be moving back to 6s to get rid if the pinging. Of course there are alot of other issues as well but this is one that not many people think about in relation to timiing. Doc
  22. It is a great engine if you want it to rev out. Lets face it rb20s rev out much higher and better than 25s, by increasing the displacement you have better mid range and the revy top end. I too have had serious thoughts about it, but unfortunately the RB20 is such a fussy enginem the 25 starts to look like a good investment.
