  1. all the RB engines will fit fine, whether its a rb25det from r33 into r32, or rb26dett from a R, even cefiro and laurel that are powered by RBs will have the same engine mounts as the skylines as they are all RBs
  2. lol ok sweet, might see u guys in a few months time eh, i'll make sure to join SAU when i get there, keep in touch for now, cheer
  3. jst took a brief look, pretty silly eh, annual fee? man that would suck, its only 400 or so in NZ to get, and its one off
  4. sweet as man, sounds good so far, i'm not fussed who owns the car in Oz, jst as long as i can get it there without too much hassle one other question, is there a site i can go to, to find out what personalised plates are still avaliable? i'm wanting to put on the same one i have in NZ, RB25DE hehe
  5. hi all, i'm from SDU in auckland, there's a good possibility that i'm moving over to Sydney in a few months time, so would like to start get to know some ppl in SAU Sydney, been a very active member of SDU in auckland for a number of years now i was wondering if its possible to bring my car over to Oz, the car is under my mothers and my name, and i've had it for nearly 1 and half a year now, if it does cost, how much would the compliance cost? and also what are some of the other rules? i have a 1991 R32 gts25 converted to a turbo (as in slapping a turbo on the NA engine, hehe) 5 stud conversion and all and one other question, if i cant get it complianced there i will sell it in NZ, so i was wondering how much R34 gtt go for these days in Oz, the pre facelift model, 1998-2000 ones, i like their front thnx very much in advance guys tovey
  6. rx7 injectors depend on wat series they came off, series 4 rx7 has 550cc low impedence, how ever from 5 onwards they became high impedence, that is why i ask the question, but since u've said they are same as RB20DET injectors then i would presume they are top feed low impedence? cheers
  7. are these low impedence or high impedence, i'm wanting to put a set of RX7 series 4 550cc injectors on my car, as i have done a turbo conversion and in need of larger injectors, ta
  8. holy sh*t CRACK UP
  9. heres sum more car 'terms' http://forums.skylinesdownunder.co.nz/show...&threadid=25231 hehe
  10. me coupe as well, got full GTR body kit with the GTR wing as well, gunmetal color
  11. most of the performance mods were done by the previous owner of the car, who used to be in SDU also, so i think u'll have to ask him, he's kennydead on SDU forums i think he told me he scored those tomei cams for free, coz he has a mate in japan who works around tracks or sumthing, and when the japanese go race or drift the cars, and sumthing even remotely 'out of tune' they'll throw sum of the near new parts away, these tomeis had only been used for a few laps so i'm told, and they threw it out, so his mate asked him if he wanted it, suits the RB25DE lol, dyno, i think it made 110rwkw last time dynoed, not sure if that was with all the mods currently on it, but yeah, very smooth driving at the moment. he's also currently doing a project car, r32 gts25 also , turbo'd it with garret t04E ( i think), steel compressor wheel, running standard 10:1 CR, very responsive, very quick, he says with a good tuner the CR can be kepts high
  12. hi all, i'm contemplating on a turbo conversion on my r32 gts25, to date the engine mods on it are, tomei cams, 6:2:1 aftermarket extractors, 2 1/4 inch exhaust all the way no CAT, i'm thinking if i turbo the car i would like to use Power FC, but i'm told that Power FC only made ECU for specific engines, eg. RB25DE or RB25DET I will probably be using a r34 gtt turbo, and manifold or maybe custom made manifold, how much boost can these turbos handle? I'm wanting around 1 bar, would i need to get the turbo modifed for steel compressor wheel for this boost level? if so this would in turn tend to lag a bit, this brings me to my next point of compression ratio and forged pistons.... I also have a few questions about the compression of RB25DE, they are 10:1 from factory, I'm thinking of keeping it the same compression is this ok? if i were to use good aftermarket forged pistons which are made to suit 10:1 would that make it much better for the engine, I also noticed that the factory compression ratio of a RB25DET is 9:1, is there 'that' much of a great difference in this? 10:1 and 9:1 is only 1 off. any advice would be great, thnx in advance
