Wtb - Skyline 350Gt Coupe Floor Mats (Oem)
liger replied to _thom_'s topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
the original floor mats from nissan are discontinued and no longer available as far as i am aware. I tried to get a friend in Japan to go into the dealership and get me a set, came back empty. managed to find the e-mail: "I am sorry, no stock of brand-new CPV35 floor mat. They say floor mat in V36 doesn’t fit. The shape is different. I spoke to Nissan Head office and Nissan dealers. Only available in after market ones. Yuji" and at the time the aftermarket ones were 30,000JPY -
uh, can i change that to 5 with the 6th one within the next few months? lost my FTP drive on the weekend (so pissed), and theres a problem with the sector cound on the other one. ugh, worst decision ever getting greens back in the day. another 2x SV35's comming up

2. is it only when sifting from 1st -> 2nd? and only when the engine/transmission is cold?

i'm in a similar situation. the current fuel in my V35 350GT has been in there since ~ 19th november last year. at the time i used a octane booster ( not really sure if they actually do anything or are just a waste of money), but i cant tell any knocking or signs that the fuel is too bad to run. its deffinatly not as fresh as what it used to be tho

Thought id give this one a bit of a bump up the top. Need a bit of advice or guidance on whats the best thing to do. since mine is up for renewal in april, i have started searching around. i've decided to go for the high excess to bring my annual premium down a bit. Justcar : $734 ($1,700 excess & Rating 1 protection. Agreed value $19,250) Suncorp: $657.70 ($2,100 excess, glass cover , Agreed value $18,000) AI insurance: $857 ($1800 excess, windscreen cover) (based on a 26 y/o with no accident history) the thing is, the car is completely standard, no modifications. and i don't intend to do any modifications within the next few years. is it best to change over to someone like suncorp with the lower premiums and the glass cover? Justcars dont have any real benefit to me as the car is unmodified. the only thing that they have going for them is the higher agreed value. but with the way these cars are depreciating is it worth spending the extra bucks for a higher agreed value?

can of compressed air and a paintbrush for me. it really depends on your living conditions as to how often you clean them out. cats/dogs in the area, carpet or hard floors. usually you get more dust if the comptuer is in a carpeted room. but i usually clean mine out once a month.

mate when you get the VIN, talk to this guy about getting a ODO check http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/user/118441-japaneseodocheck/

ah I don't think you can go tri-screen with a 570 my 470 didn't support tri-screen unless it was in SLI... I believe its a minimum of a 660 to go tri-screen ( or a 600 series card I think). oh and dual screens are SO handy, playing games on one screen with TS/AIDA64 all monitoring equipment on the other screen. since Having tri-screens I wouldn't go back to Dual link DVI. so much more room! you can get a Galaxy GTX760 for $300 from PC case gear ( its on their front page) if your interested

mid tower? fair enough. I know what having a system is like in a older mid tower. before the xaser everything used to be in a thermaltake M9D (now the server). cable management and airflow in that case was fun to say the least. how old is your system? ( just curious)
-
refreshing the thermal paste is never a bad idea. but .what is the H55 rad size? 120mm rad? freaking tiny! my build is finished and all up and running now. i have a spare SSD from my pld system ( samsung 830) so not sure what i'm going to do with that yet.

i've killed 2 x GTX260's. current cooler on this GTX470 solved the problem.. temps on the 260's were well over 110*c.. it was crazy. needless to say i'm a little parranoid bwahahha
-
ah fair enough then. but you will worry about it soon. even with 10TB i'm always finding that i'm running out of room... oh hell no, if that doesnt look cheap and nasty i dont know what does . most probably i'll be going with a koolance waterblock with a 420 rad in the side intake. if that doesnt keep it cool then it can just blow up................. or i'll add another rad

could of told me about the H90 2 weeks ago since I want to play BF4 now.. I had to make a bit of a sacrifice on the CPU and cooling. but in saying that the 3.0 Extreme all in one is on par with my current setup with lower fan speeds ( 3.0 extreme 38*c @1000rpm Vs bigwater 780 39*c @1650rpm). but i'll be cooling the GPU in a separate loop from the CPU. to keep it as cool as possible. I've had bad luck with GPU cards in the past with temps
-
theres that much extra room in the case, i might aswell put another ATX board in too. there is mounts for about 20 fans. thankfully cooling wont be a problem in this case ( not like the Xaser. not enough intake), i grabbed this case for about $460, i can give you a link to it if you prefer. really worth the money spent. did i mention the 9 HDD bays with expansion up to 12? not a bad system at all, if you doing alot of writing/reading from the hard drives, think about installing the WD reds or the seagate SV35's. because you know aswell as i do, that 4TB isnt going to last long. the builds get easier the more you do them. this last build was my 4th build. piece of cake now. hey leigh, how are you finding the GPU temps with that cooling system? watercooling this 780 is next on my list of thing to do.

Current gaming system is being retired, she's lasted me 5 years ( and the GPU 4 years). so time for a bit of a new system. so it will be turned into a second file storage server Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 900D Super Tower Case Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP CPU & CPU Cooler: Intel Core i7 4770 Quad Core LGA 1150 3.4GHz / Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme Liquid CPU Cooler RAM: Kingston HyperX BEAST 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 1600MHz Monitor: current 3x 24" setup. Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 3GB Overclock HDD(s): Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" SATA III SSD (OS) / Samsung 840 Series 120GB SSD (dedicated games) / 2x 2 TB Seagate SV35 OS Used: Win 7 pro, with an upgrade to win 8.1 in the early part of next year the 900D is a monster of a case, standard ATX board looks like a mini ITX

as for the spending money.. is that $5,000 for spending money only? or is it to pay for hotels aswell? if the hotels are already paid for, then $1,000-$1,200/week spending money is more than enough if you have paif for the hotels and have a JR rail pass. but keep a eye on the exchange rate, DONT get the JPY form the airport. as you will get screwed over. earlier in the week the yen was as high as AU$1= 88.6JPY . But it took a major dive yesturday to 87.1JPY. if the yen improves on monday or tuesday, order the moeny through your bank( or you can order it through westpac even if you dont have a account with them. you can pay by Bpay, and they seem to have the best exchange rate out of all the major banks).

There was a big post i made a while ago about going to Japan, i will have to re-do it sometime.. if going to the tokyo area: Staying: Shinagawa Prince hotel - main tower ( if you plan to travel on the bullet trains) to get around: JR rail pass if your travelling all over the country, or SUICA if only travelling around tokyo area Sights : tokyo sky tree, old tokyo tower ( if they still do tours), asakusa, meiji shrine, shibuya, roppongi ( nightclub area pretty much), Onsen's

i believe thats the month of the " shaken" ( japan's version of RWC). but dont quote me on it
-
as for the heights, doesnt worry me if i know that its safe enough ( i.e no rickety bridge). havent seen the sky tree yet only the old tokyo tower. paul, i'll be over there from 26th -> 5th January. landing on kansai again, but if the yen is around the same rate as it is now i'll grab a rail pass and duck up there mate.
-
bwahahhaha. soon hopefully, the yen went from 90.3 this morning to 88.x this afternoon.. doesnt seem like much, untill you buy $3,000 worth of spending money good photos tho paul, always love seeing them
