  3. evening all, looking at upgrading my AV in the comming weeks. and on the lookout for a new spyware aswell. currently running AVG free/ Ad-aware / malwarebytes, but AVG its getting a bit sloopy, and i've had troubles with ad-aware detecting game files as spyware. so i'm curious as to what everyone is using and their opinions of them are.
  4. sorry to revive an old thread. did the boiling water end up working? a birds decided to drop its guts over the car. tried a cut and polish around the area but its still stuck there like glue.

  10. i mostly use PC case gear when i can. but sometimes their freight prices to my city are quite high. so i usually work out what the cheapest option is between PCCG and megabuy (www.megabuy.com.au)
  11. no problem . i'll have a chat to a few friends over there, they might know where to find some.
  12. Japanese -> Japanese scripts will be hard to find i think. i'm not even sure where to begin looking for something like that. does JP TV have closed captions? if its japanese -> english i can provide some anime scripts.

    Bundaberg

i would of expected them to crack down up here. the ammount of idiots this city holds is mindblowing.
  14. quick question, wanting to replace the battery in the V35's key. would this wipe the programming to the car ( i.e i would have to get it programmed again)? or would it keep its settings?
  15. that car is too nice to sell.. keep it before you sell it to someone who will put those unit stickers on it.
  16. my G25 is only 2 years old... but dam, i'm tempted to get one
  17. i usually try and get things form overseas when i can, or failing that.. steam. i mean shit, how much is L4D2 selling for these days? $30? if you get it on steam when they have it on sale, $2. not to mention the good exchange rate with the US dollar at the moment.
  18. the SVD is diffrent to the normal SSS. the SVD's are the more rarer cars ( ~200 made 27 white ones made for the F1). for future refrence models: GL = base model, 1.6L singe point injection. drum brakes at the rear GX = 1.6L standard, 1.8L EFI optional ( i believe). 4 wheel disc brakes GXE = 1.8L EFI standard, chrome pieces. otherwise identical to GX SSS = 1.8L EFI standard, 4 wheel disc brakes, diffrent extractors from factory, LSD Ti= sedan only, basically the same as GXE but in sedan form SVD = ( look at the link in the quoted post
  19. didnt you know? clutches need sleep too.
  20. before i owned the skyline i had the N13 pulsar (1990). very easy to work on and learn. parts are dirt cheap ( wreckers, if not your local holden dealer). the engine is pretty solid and killing one is pretty hard. if you do, second hand engines are dirt cheap anyway. they are good on fuel awell. i'm also looking for another N13 as a daily myself.
  21. tell her to get into the kitchen and make you a sammich, check GT5. killing 2 birds with 1 stone.
  22. so you bought the newest corvette, modified it completly. then went into the GT auto and performed the racing modification? failing that i can loan you a car that will do the job.
  23. haha, i would of loved to get my hands on the Thermaltake Xpressar RSC100. but it had pretty piss poor cooling from the reviews that i read. if i could still get the thermaltake SwordM with LCS. i would. but they are hard to find these days (i like thermaltake stuff )
  24. righto, looking at upgrading the server case before summer hits again. currently running a thermaltake M9D. i was looking at the lan li TYR PC-X2000B. but after killing 2HDD and 2 GPU's from heat. i need something that has good cooling properties. at the moment there is a 40mm fan under each HDD for cooling ( 5.25 bay with a bracket) so i'm after something that has ~10x 5.25 drive bays to have enough room for the fan setup's. suggestions?
  25. ahhh i remember the late nights on perfect dark in the complex. with the slayer on the 3rd level ( weapon drop #5) hunting the bastards down with fly-by-wire rockets. while a laptop gun kept me safe form atack. and lets not forget the good ol VengeSim's..... little bastards
