  1. I know this is a very old thread, but hoping you're still monitoring this Chad Bob. I saw your similar post re; Nissan Di motors at europort.org.nz a few weeks ago, soon after my 2006 RX250 FOUR M35 was on it's way to NZ. It sure put a dampener on things. My car has landed, has 84K on the clock and runs very well at this stage. This weekend, I opened the throttle butterfly, and sure enough, I could see a coating of around 1mm of black death from there in. I guess I should let loose some Subaru upper cycling cleaner. How many bottles do I need? Do you recommend 1/3 in the petrol tank, 1/3 in the crank case, and 1/3 in the brake booster vacuum line as someone on Youtube mentioned? Sorry I couldn't PM you. I need something like 10 posts before I can do that.
  2. Living on the North Shore of Auckland. Long term 1997 Stagea 25x owner since 2000 (one of the first Stageas here in NZ.) Has been a great car, and served us well. Just imported it's replacement a week ago, a 2006 M35 RX250 FOUR with normally aspirated VQ25DD direct injection motor and 5 speed auto. Love this car, and it's handling. Despite being 300kg heavier than our other car, (a 1998 Cefiro with VQ25DE motor), it feels much faster, and handles much better. Stageas are becoming quite plentiful over here, and we don't have any limitations on which models can be complied.
  3. Bis-e Bee, Sorry if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but do you or anyone know what that fluid bottle with the angled filler shaft (as in your photo) is for and where it's located? I thought it was behind one of the storage compartments in the side of the boot, but my 2006 - 250RX FOUR (non-turbo) model doesn't have one of those. The passenger side does have the TV tuner module, but with different TV and output connectors to the 2001 - 2004 models.
  4. Hi Blade, I'm new here too, and live in Auckland. I've owned a '97 Stagea since 2000 (one of the first in NZ) and have just imported an M35, a 2006 RX250 FOUR (non-turbo) to replace it with. The digital TV mod the Aussies do, isn't suitable for NZ as our terrestrial digital TV system is completely different to theirs, using MP4/h.264 video and AAC/AC3 audio. I don't know of any 12V tuners available yet, and if there were any, I believe they would need to be configured to output NTSC video in order to work with the onboard screen. It's possible one of those HDD media players could be an option, so I maybe looking into that. Awesome car though, and also looking forward to the nav conversion too, although the mod for the 2005-2007 models isn't ready yet.
